I'm glad you realize that tax cuts actually help the economy by allowing financial mobility. The problem with this bill is that the democrats now have themselves in a post-hoc cage. If the economy does better, they will claim credit for it simply because the economy improved after the bill was passed. If the economy stays the same, they will claim that they stopped it from doing worse.
Pointing out the use of post hoc arguments in politics (by politicians) would be good for our country.
