If they are going to find anything up in Alaska, they probably should do it now. Alaska's Prudhoe Bay has peaked and is declining quick and the pipeline is rusting. If there is oil east of there is a matter of discovering it with a bunch of wildcats. From what I understand, Anwr is very different from Prudhoe Bay. Anwr is not a big oil field, but a bunch of small ones. Each one of them not worth drilling for. We'll see in about 5-10 years from now. It's theater and denial of peak oil.
