i love looking at videos on youtube but when it comes to actually uploading my own content i use revver. no matter what youtube finds something in the video that bugs them and they take it off.
Exactly. Revver has refused to pay its video creators for months, yet they still claim to share revenue. It's completely deceptive, and anyone thinking they can make money there should be informed of the truth.
hey you sound like your on revver, how do i watch 17+ videos. im in my 20s and said i was over 1 when i set my account up but evry time i want to watch a video that people have marked 17+ cus of swearing and crap. I CANT it pops up for like 1 second then dissapears, i can hear the audio but not see the video. Any help you could give me would be great thanks.
@ IWantYourBrainz: You should be able to watch them no prob. Sounds to me like Revver itself was having some issues when you were trying to watch. I've never had any trouble watching the 17+. I think it's just a rating for rating's sake...as I can watch them regardless of whether I'm logged in or not.
If you're still having problems watching them, contact support to let them know, as it might be a glitch that they're not aware of.
Revver has started to make good on the money they owe video creators. Hopefully this will continue and all payments will be caught up and things will run smoothly from here on out.
REVVER is much better than YouTube. They pay you, No ten min. time limit, Codes to embed a menu to all your videos, They don't overcompress your video, audio streams are in stereo, there is also a down load link to share your videos on p2p networks.
I agree. It's better for creators. It's also great for people who just watch and share videos cos they can make some money too. It's a lot more fair than YouTube and MySpace. Neither of these sites would exist but for the people, and yet the big sites give nothing back.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't know about Revver. I'm not sure if I want to use it, but it's worth a conversation with my writing/producing partnter.
Revver sucks..
it never works and my income suddenly just disappeared..

This video is funny......
Internet is moving towards the direction of TV NO MATTER what this guy says.
Also, his site is known to delete any form of educational video that happens to mention a company name.
They seem to be anti-VSEO..... GOOD LUCK with that model. This model is supported by annoying overlay ads that most viewers cant stand.

Here's an idea...then how about actually paying us?!! Revver owes me money and hasn't paid its video creators for some time now. NOT COOL.

One of the reasons I vastly prefer Revver.
Youtube treat me and all of ScrewAttack like shit, but Revver has fallen over themselves to help us whenever we had a problem.
