  • awesome video really liked it!

  • I thought this yoga sequence was wonderful! I really like your voice and appreciated the stone meditation at the end! Warmly, M

  • Great! It felt great to to do this exercise! =)

  • Excellent work! Congratulations!

  • Yoga may push away sadness for an hour or so but I wouldn't recommend it for cases of depression. If you're interested, here are the four REAL keys to happiness:

scribd.com/doc/54423433 (Don't read if the truth disturbs you)

  • I really enjoyed this class, and also love the geese and other birds going in and out the scene. My cats often accompany me during my yoga practice and it makes me happy.

  • I absolutely LOVE this video! Thanks for sharing!!

  • So healing, thank you so much!!!

  • what is THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN hatha, kundalini and anusara yoga, plz? NAMASTE. i APPRECIATE STRONGR ONE. WHAT'S ITS NAME, AGAIN?

  • I was in a happy mood then decided to type in "sadness " on youtube search. 20 seconds in, I felt like being a suicidal....

  • I enjoy watching you, but from an instructional point of view, it would be useful to see how a typical inexperienced person can properly execute more primitive forms of these stretches. As you know, a beginner will strain himself and learn bad form by expecting himself to mirror his instructor one-to-one. In reality, each move has constituent steps, and it is these that need more focus in typical yoga instruction.

These are just my 2-cents as a layman.

  • @psilogon Very good points and great timing! We are redoing the YogaYak website and will endeavour to better develop our "poses explained" section. More precisely, each of the poses should be listed and linked to a video explaining the proper way to perform them. The current "poses" section can be seen here yogayak d*t com/category/video/poses/

  • @psilogon I feel she's doing fine. Perhaps you could be easier on yourself? keep practicing and go with it. ave fun with it. Don't judge her and don't judge you. There's nothing like being in class in person and getting the instructor to help you out physically if that's what you need.

  • trash

  • God/Jesus/Buddha bless you Andrea MacDonald and YogaYak. I keep on returning to this, as I keep on returning to dukkha (life, eh?). It is so beautifully paced, narrated, and put-together. Big Love, Steve

  • thank you for this video, it has really helped me to relax.

  • thank you for this video, it has really helped me to relax.

  • I laughed when the geese came in the picture I couldn't help it lol Good job though!

  • Thank you for this video. I really like the narration and the big duck that waddles by! Have you considered using essential oils for balancing emotions? I wrote a book called Aroma Yoga, have a website aromayogaguide and I teach how to use therapeutic grade essential oils this all over. Check it out!

    Keep up the great work!

  • this is the kind of yoga I did when I was little and in college. I would like to feel more at peace and I would try this technqiue but its so expensive in the city so i am trying a few routines I can find here to determine which is going to bring me the best results eg flexiblity and serneity.

  • Very nice sequence, thanks from the heart for sharing this.

  • man this kicked my butt, especially down dog.

Anyone have any tips for loosening up really tight hams? Down dog is near impossible for me even after doing it almost daily.

  • bad sound

  • Thank you for this great yoga video! I added it to my favorites. It gave me calm and peace on my mind.

  • This is great - really relieves that tight stress in the body.

  • I started crying at 05:15 and it made my breathing difficult... and the same at 05:35... Then I gave up. :(

    Was that normal?

  • @0sadbychoice0 I'm no expert but it sounds like you may have released some blockage of sadness in your heart. It is good - you can only move through blockages and darkness by passing through it.

    That is my interpretation anyways.

  • @0sadbychoice0 what is "normal"?

  • @bambikohaku I meant was that something I should have expected...

  • @0sadbychoice0 I would say expect nothing...that way you'll always be surprised :) In my opinion, your reaction shows that you should do this more. Good luck, namaste!

  • Absolutely Fantastic! However when I added to my favourites I noticed that each time I played this video it stopped at 10.35 seconds, to remedy this I just played it from source instead of favourite! :)!

  • this was actualy my first time i did anything like this, i tryed it only to the 8th minute and stoped (was late and wanted to go to sleep) when i sat down on my comp to turn if off i felt a a releafe in my whole body, i think ill start practice yoga everyday cause this is amaising :D
