Yoga may push away sadness for an hour or so but I wouldn't recommend it for cases of depression. If you're interested, here are the four REAL keys to happiness:
scribd.com/doc/54423433 (Don't read if the truth disturbs you)
I really enjoyed this class, and also love the geese and other birds going in and out the scene. My cats often accompany me during my yoga practice and it makes me happy.
I've done yoga every day for 30 years now -- I cured HERPES -- lip AND genital – with a non-physical form of YOGA called immunics -- I've doing IMMUNICS since 1993 -- I haven't had flu since I cured the herpes – I've seen people cure CANCER with this –
I do yoga and immunics in short bursts – THROUGHOUT THE DAY – keep myself feeling great ALL DAY – FRIEND me on Facebook – Bayard Henry Barnes -- 813-672-3419
I enjoy watching you, but from an instructional point of view, it would be useful to see how a typical inexperienced person can properly execute more primitive forms of these stretches. As you know, a beginner will strain himself and learn bad form by expecting himself to mirror his instructor one-to-one. In reality, each move has constituent steps, and it is these that need more focus in typical yoga instruction.
@psilogon Very good points and great timing! We are redoing the YogaYak website and will endeavour to better develop our "poses explained" section. More precisely, each of the poses should be listed and linked to a video explaining the proper way to perform them. The current "poses" section can be seen here yogayak d*t com/category/video/poses/
@psilogon I feel she's doing fine. Perhaps you could be easier on yourself? keep practicing and go with it. ave fun with it. Don't judge her and don't judge you. There's nothing like being in class in person and getting the instructor to help you out physically if that's what you need.
God/Jesus/Buddha bless you Andrea MacDonald and YogaYak. I keep on returning to this, as I keep on returning to dukkha (life, eh?). It is so beautifully paced, narrated, and put-together. Big Love, Steve
Thank you for this video. I really like the narration and the big duck that waddles by! Have you considered using essential oils for balancing emotions? I wrote a book called Aroma Yoga, have a website aromayogaguide and I teach how to use therapeutic grade essential oils this all over. Check it out!
this is the kind of yoga I did when I was little and in college. I would like to feel more at peace and I would try this technqiue but its so expensive in the city so i am trying a few routines I can find here to determine which is going to bring me the best results eg flexiblity and serneity.
If you like yoga and are interested in starting your own studio read How to Start and Maintain A Profitable Yoga Business by: L. Burke Files. This book makes it easy to avoid common mistakes and do everything possible to insure success. It crosses the bridge between the spiritual aspirations of the business and the business foundations of yoga practitioners. Its a great resource!
@0sadbychoice0 I'm no expert but it sounds like you may have released some blockage of sadness in your heart. It is good - you can only move through blockages and darkness by passing through it.
@0sadbychoice0 I would say expect nothing...that way you'll always be surprised :) In my opinion, your reaction shows that you should do this more. Good luck, namaste!
Absolutely Fantastic! However when I added to my favourites I noticed that each time I played this video it stopped at 10.35 seconds, to remedy this I just played it from source instead of favourite! :)!

Anyone have any tips for loosening up really tight hams? Down dog is near impossible for me even after doing it almost daily.
