I love the film Hell Drivers. Cant recall Reed being in it tho. They had a stellar cast, the majority of whom went onto huge success. The obvious ones include Sean Connery, Stanley Baker, Patrick Macgoohan, Sid James and William Hartnell and David McCallum who went on to star in The Man From U.N.C.L.E and now plays "Ducky" in NCIS.
He did like a drink but I think he used to play on it sometimes..This particular ASPEL scene is not the antics of someone who is pissed you can tell by his body langauge..

Well, this may be true but it also was who he was. It's like Keith Moon. It is sad that drink destroyed him but I also can't imagine Moon sucking down Green Tea and vitamin pills either. Just accept them for who they were and enjoy their legend.

I saw Ollie Reed in a pub on Putney high street in 1990 and he was fookin'Bolloxed then.but not as bad as this.He bought a drink for everyone in the pub Cheers Ollie.
