  • I made a delivery to his house Broome Hall many years back, and agian after a property developer purchased the property, great man great house but still think back wishing i could have met my hero, but i guess he was out for a wee slurp

  • Legend.

  • Like...a...boss!

  • They knew the state he was in and could have prevented him from making a fool of himself by simply saying he was unwell and stopping him from going on set, But humiliation of the great makes good tv. Disgusting.

  • Happy Birthday Oliver Reeds. yes, he was a great actor. get it actor. I thought he was so handsome. He was great in Burnt Offerings. Remember.I know he is dead.Oh, yea he played in Tommy!!

  • I think he was just acting up to satisfy everyone's assumption he was going to be drunk and taking the mickey out of himself.

    KILL HIM AGAIN

  • That huge outsized jug on the table was Oliver Reed's. When he first walked on Aspel looked at it and said 'Gin and orange?' and Reed grinned.

  • I often get drunk on Aspall.

  • I would very much like to see the interview that followed this but I dont think its on YouTube

  • A real shame, but you cant deny his genius, Oliver was an amazing man RIP

  • I'm really sorry, this isn't funny, but I laughed my fucking ass off! I know, I'm goin' to hell.

  • Hell, this is what you get when you make a physically addictive poison that usually turns people into arseholes the only legal intoxicant, while making up lies to keep safer, better drugs illegal. Mind you, Olly lived as he wanted to, and died doing what he lved doing, drinking himself into a coma....I doubt he feared death one jot. There's a sort of Dylan Thomas nobility in that.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 You're a typical modern twat. You represent everything Ollie hated, and I can assure you he would have just laughed at your comment. You potheads are hilarious. You have a bleak, miserable fucking aura about you, well done.

  • So Sad

  • @Mydadsdog yes, modern boring avian water life is so sad. What happened to having a good time? Ollie has lived more in 61 years than you could in 8000 lifetimes. Fuck off and be beige, asshole.

  • @PortsmouthNoir So sad that such a talented actor should have fallen to alcoholism was the sentiment behind my comment. Your comment demonstrates a profoundly poor understanding of life I would recommend that you consider having a psychiatric assessment.

  • Not one of his best performances. I suspect he was acting here. I'm not as big a drinker as Oliver, but even if I drunk say a whole bottle of vodka, I still wouldn't be drunk enough to dance like that - so how could Oliver ever get so drunk, with such a high tolerance level?

  • @Cellsolid the guy just said he drunk a whole minibar lmao trust me ya get soo fucked up ya dont give a fuck anymore, especially if someone plays your favourite song ya go wild haha

  • Oliver Reed.....Top Class. RIP Olly.

  • easy on the filthy lingo guys.you can be done now in U.K. ,and found sooner than you may think.Social network abuse.

  • @billywizz43 this isnt a social network site though, it'a pile of shit where every fucking idiot over the world congregate and act like fucking cunts.

  • @MrRozow I agree with you, but I also agree with" filthybaggage". With the amount of alcohol he drank he was never going to live for very long. Sady missed, shame he went at 61.

  • @sootoo1 61 is just the right age to die, After that all you do is get fat, bald, impotent and go to funerals before you explode.

  • No wonder he's dead

  • Neanderthal Elvis.

  • A true Legend who will never be forgotten - The Best. R.I.P Oliver Reed.

  • this guy doesnt give a motherfuck. i like it.

  • is he singing suzi quatro?

  • I had a thing for oliver reed i would have liked to have got drunk with him there is no one like him now

  • @MsFanmail I agree.

  • Oliver Reed with some Elvis Moves xD

    I LOVE OLLIE A LEGEND <3

  • fucking legendary.

  • He was a genius in an amazing shirt.

  • 1 white scum dead, who cares

  • @shussey100 Your twat of a mother does.

  • Why did Ollie pretend to be so drunk and play the fool so much on interviews? He was such a great actor and had an established career behind him and ahead of him still..everyone knows he liked to drink and drank to excess but according to the bio evil spirits he played up to this image of himself as the wild hell raiser and drunkard whenever on TV.. maybe for him being a character actor, it was just another character and he was giving the audience what they wanted and had come to expect?

  • Read the bio evil spirits, he was faking it guys.

  • He was doing his famous Mick Jagger imitation.

  • He was an actor and if you read his biography then you will know that he was faking it

  • I still maintain he was faking this.

  • The only bad thing about this performance was that he didn't do it on Noel's House Party.

  • it's weird seeing bill sykes like this, if i saw this when i was younger i wouldn't have been so scared of him.

  • Reminds me of David Brent.

  • what's the song he's singing?

  • @gajdijaa

    WILD ONE

  • @imalovedrunk by who? there's like a gizillion authors with their own song named wild one.....

  • Fuck me, it's Johhny Rotten's dad !

  • fan fucking tastic !!!!!!!

  • The people who made these programmes wanted controversy so he gave it to them. Plenty of booze was always handed to him backstage before any tv appearances. They knew what they were going to get when Ollie had a few ales so then suddenly shouting Shock Horror when it happened was a bit hypocritical.

  • Lol...

  • Bird Bird Bird is a word-Trashmen

  • R.I.P Ollie. You were a buccaneer.

  • Quite a character was our Oliver....probably the finest actor this country ever saw. Now, Bullseye, come 'ere!!

  • what song is he singing

  • Legend

  • oliver reed had an ilness called alcoholism. his mind and body craved it . instead of helping him, the media , ie, chatshow hosts actively encouraged him to drink by supplying him with vast amounts of drink at any interview he was booked in for. the idea was he would be good entertainment making a fool of himself. ok nobody turned him into an alcoholic but people are different, some can take a drink and then go home some cant .

  • some sad shit!!

  • LMAO BLOODY DISGUSTIN

  • Oliver Reed was a talentless fat ugly wife beating racist who funded apartheid and only got into movies because his uncle was the Oscar winning director Sir Carol Reed.

  • @JuanMacready Oliver Reed was a Fantastic Actor a joy to watch have you not seen his performance in Oliver and Gladiator for example , obviously you haven't watched him is his films, you are clearly an ignorant person and to say he was ugly? he was a very hansom man when he was in his 20-30's.

  • @5eurocups2005 He sucked in Oliver and only got the part because his uncle was the director.

  • @JuanMacready Oliver Reed sucked in Oliver??? come on did you really watch it or are you just saying that, Oliver would not of been the same without his performance. He was tremendous as Bill Sykes end of

  • @5eurocups2005 Reed sucked as Bill Sikes, he was far too well spoken for the character and his "Cockney" accent was hilariously bad. Robert Newton was infinitely better in the much superior 1948 version. They even had to cut Sikes' only song "My Name" because the talentless wife beating racist Reed couldn't sing at all. Anyway he only got the part because Sir Carol Reed was directing.

  • since when was he racist u dick if your talking about years ago in the 50s when everyone use to be racist then i dont see the point of adding that in have some damn respect

  • @charlieiscool1000 Reed funded apartheid.

  • 0:10 Do the Oliver! Do the Oliver!

  • I read that he was sober during this.

  • Depressing indeed. When you think of him in that Hannibal film. Tragic.

  • Was he doing a Mick Jagger impersination?

  • what a badass!! gotta love him!

  • lol at the stage getting a pounding at 0:16. Nice one Ollie

  • Brilliant. RIP Ollie

He actually sounded like Tom Waits there

  • what a fuckin legend , rip Oliver Reed

  • How did he not fall over? Practice i guess...

  • Taz hate water!

  • Comment removed

  • Well of course I know, you only have to compare Equus and Joseph Andrews with Women in Love and Castaway.

  • No actually he has a much larger penis than Oliver Reed ever did.

  • I'm glad the talentless, fat, ugly, homosexual loser Oliver Reed died.

  • According to Olly's Brother,he wasn't really drunk and was just acting like this because he thought that was what people were expecting him to be like. i.e very pissed.

Also, somebody who worked on the show that night says he was sober but acted like this because he was annoyed at the people backstage who stopped him from having a drink.

All the same,it was a legendary performance from the great man.

  • Attention Seeker

  • The MAN'S MAN!

  • brilliant facial expression at 0.19

  • LMAO. Its like all control goes out the window :D

  • Gay? He fucked more women than you've had hot dinners. Oh, and he was a great actor and a much-loved character who knew how to enjoy life...as opposed to a prissy little nobody who posts sniping comments about dead actors on YouTube.

  • Calm down, dear.

  • PS: Reed famously suffered from erectile dysfunction as a result of his chronic alcoholism.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeh fuck off you pansy and who is peter firth anyway he sounds a right gay cunt just like you.

  • Fuck it's Pete Doherty!

  • Sad that most clips focus on his wild side and not the brilliant actor he was.

  • @paulspalace Amen to that - he never turned in a less than extraordinary performance, this night seems no exception though, lol

  • @paulspalace

    thats what he wanted though

  • oh he was drunk

  • Someone who just likes to have fun, don't we all

  • go rhod gilbert your the best comic out there your great from sarah and david

  • Legend... 0:33 he's so pleased with himself.

  • The greatest! I love you. Rest in peace Wild One!

  • wait for it... 0:19

  • Such a FANTASTIC actor, NONE of the current crop of actors nowadays is fit to shine Oliver's shoes IMHO!

  • Ollie rules and just shut it regarding being an act. He was the real deal unlike alot of twats out there in hollywood these days!

  • does anyone know what the song is?

  • this fooled everyone...believe it or not..he wasnt drunk...it was an act.....revealed some years after his death.

  • give negative comments but it was true he wasn't drunk... ollie was just playing up for the cameras like the press wanted... but that doesnt mean he wasn't a;ways drunk! read the biography on him! some amazing stories!!

  • I love oliver reed but to show him like this goes against all ethics of professional broadcasting

  • I agree.

  • Greg Dyke - who was one of the producers at the time - later said that it was simply impossible to ignore someone so insanely drunk.

He also reckons that the only reason the broadcasting authorities didn't feel his collar was because they thought it was live, not pre-recorded.

  • hero

  • Mr England.

  • He wasn't drunk with the vodka and o.j. on this occasion, he was acting, as you can see, very convincingly.

  • Yup he out foxed the smug cunt Clive James

  • When Oliver started singing he reminded me of Tom Waits.

Oliver was a great man for all you nay sayers out there. You bunch of wankers!!!!

  • alright ollie!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CircleofShit hahahaha....thats the first thing I thought of too!

  • @LunchtimeLoonies Wicked!

  • Comment removed

  • @CircleofShit - Big up m8! Oliver's Army wants YOU to keep the flag flying, bra! Safe!!! :)

  • Man, when I watch such videos I get my mood up and I'm thankful for that :D

  • Totally pissed man, hilarious!!!

  • I love the film Hell Drivers. Cant recall Reed being in it tho. They had a stellar cast, the majority of whom went onto huge success. The obvious ones include Sean Connery, Stanley Baker, Patrick Macgoohan, Sid James and William Hartnell and David McCallum who went on to star in The Man From U.N.C.L.E and now plays "Ducky" in NCIS.

  • He looks just like my dad xD

  • total respect.....lets all get pissed and dance......RIP ollie....we love you.

  • Ollie you are legend. RIP.

My favourite Ollie film= Hannibul Brookes, back when a character could be called "Paki"

  • 0:19, completely lost it.

  • lmao

  • he was BRILLIANT in all them roles i have to agree,

  • Wasn't he voted England's most embarassing man?

  • lol mad, crazy bastard,

but what a great actor he was.

  • didnt give a shit!

  • com'on...crazy bastard?? that's a bit disrespectful for someone who's dead.

  • That is funny.

  • yeah i heard those two and richard harris and keith moon, they caused havoc in the west end

  • what an amazing human being ollie reed was,lol

  • Im pissed ATM and i say WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • You would die! lol Either the rum would do it or one of them! But what a way to go aye hahahahah

  • lol

  • I live near where he is buried. His gravestone reads Here lies Oliver Reed he made the wind move.

  • I encourage heavy drinking, it makes for better people.

  • I don't condone heavy drinking, but what a lad!

  • I meant fooled not falled. I'm a fucking idiot!

  • He was faking it. He did it taking the piss and everyone falled for it! A brilliant bit of acting. Genius!!

  • true he gave the public what they wanted, not the first time he did it either.

  • His finest moment

  • He did like a drink but I think he used to play on it sometimes..This particular ASPEL scene is not the antics of someone who is pissed you can tell by his body langauge..

  • Oliver Reed was one of the best!!!

  • Well, this may be true but it also was who he was. It's like Keith Moon. It is sad that drink destroyed him but I also can't imagine Moon sucking down Green Tea and vitamin pills either. Just accept them for who they were and enjoy their legend.

  • I like this guy

  • rumour has it that he wasnt drunk at all and was putting it on for the cameras

  • I saw Ollie Reed in a pub on Putney high street in 1990 and he was fookin'Bolloxed then.but not as bad as this.He bought a drink for everyone in the pub Cheers Ollie.

  • Lol, he looked confused by his shadow there on the wall.

  • the master. pure etertainer and hellraiser at the same time.what a legend

  • Oliver Reed was one of best Actor...

    R. I. Peace.

  • sounds like tom waits

  • Famous, rich, drunk as a skunk and enjoying every minute of it !!!!!.
