@16ftsprint I was waiting for you to chime in!Two days back to back, the sows were coming off the flats into the canals.Little trips after work helped me dial it in.Hitting it early tmorow.
You have the potential to make great videos. Get a tripod and film while you fish. Or if you have a Flip, Kodak, or any other pocket size camera, buy a Hat Cam for 29.95. With a hatcam, you catch all the fishing action, and when you land a beast, take the hat off, put it on the deck, and film yourself from a few feet away. Great fish by the way!
yep rage tails all day, everyone blows smoke up the horny toads, ive been telling people since they came out rage tails ahve more/better action, its like a buzzbait on the surface only its plastic, u use those new smoking rouster by ragetails yet? gonna give those a try as a jig trailer.
Way to be killing me... standing by for a good toad bite right now LOL! We are a month/ month and a half away from some good topwater fishing. Nice fish for sure! Get your camera mounted somewhere so we can see the bass strike at that toad... that would be nice to see since it's been so long for me!
@xXcam0manXx I give him one, maybe two fish.I release all the rest and by all the rest I mean a couple of thousand fish every year he realy enjoys it.This is the only bass I have kept in 35 years since I was ten years old!I know its against the catch and release rule book but hes a great dog and I cant say no to him.
@theguitarshredder77 just when you think your fishing slow enough, slow down even more.sub surface is almost always the bite on cold days not top water.sinking woms, weited tube baits, spinner baits fished slow do well too.Rapala countdowns do well, count one sec for every foot and try different depths, good luck
@brettrtrophyhunter I am interested Brett.I will visit you on facebook and post some pictures as well. The way you pull those deep water fish just amazes me.

@s4il I havent tried them yet.The only drawback about rage tails is they dig in so hard they wear out my back.
