The trouble is that I was living with a 39YO woman who he really liked & thought was perfect for me (I’m 42). However, we split up last year & then I started dating her 19YO daughter. She’s a beautiful girl & we always got on really well, so I naturally I leapt at the chance as soon as I was free & single!

It’s a pity he’s taken this line, but frankly I could do without his moralising lectures.

He died before we could reconcile. I have to admit though, I don't think I wanted a relationship with my father. Reason being is he has done selfish things in his life at the expense of his children and wife. That's a very hard thing to forgive. Plus, he never admited he was wrong, which made it even worse.
