awesome guitars man. i wish i had the money to get one of those but i gotta get a car and i already have a nice guitar. but it's always nice to have another lol. im playing on an old SD Curlee. they competed with gibson way back in the day until they went out of business and they sold some REALLY GOOD quality guitars and only 3000 were sold. god only knows how many still exist lol.

No offense meant to anyone, just to clear things up: These are really great guitars, but Surfing With The Alien (the album) was tracked with a Kramer Pacer, and a couple of other mongrel electrics that the master pieced together... Ibanez didn't enter the picture until after the album really took off. Again, not dissing anyone... peace!

Listen To Surfing With the Alien, Crushing Day, and Rubina. They are all very versatile. Rock definatly. Metal probably.

Yeah they are very versatile guitars. I don't understand why a lot of people on the internet right that the guitars aren't good for metal. If you've got an amp that can handle metal, then the JS series guitars can do it.

I've got an Ibanez Radius as my main guitar (basically the same as the JS series, just older), and having the basswood body is great for cutting through the mix, really can make yourself stand out. Great for metal.

What, are you KIDDING? It's an Ibanez JS Series Guitar. It will Play ANYTHING at anytime provided you've got all the right amps, pedals, and backing tracks to play in the background. If you EVER see a JS SERIES, it's worth every single cent you're pulling out of your wallet.
