@theez14 They're paying as much for the name as they are for the art. Sure, any graphic designer of the day could reproduce this piece no problem.. I could also forge Babe Ruth's autograph onto a baseball.

@theez14 If you think Andy Warhols art was about artistic achievement you are horribly mistaken.. but he was actually a talented artist, produced photorealistic paintings/drawings in art school. But he was a commercial illustrator and a graphic designer which reflected in the art he produced, and just so happened to spark a new artistic movement. Most people are more fans of Andy Warhol the man, than they are of his artwork.. and most who dislike him don't understand him or what he was all about
