This aint fake snakes only sense things mammals & reptiles, reptiles dont produce there own heat but most need to lay in sun to heat there bodies so they will give off heat cause off this, tarantulas dont as they dont like the sun or light so they stay the same temp as there environment so its going be very hard for the snake to sense this spider when everything else around him is the same temp :P
