I know its old now, but I still love this video, I have it in my favourites and watch it every now and then just for the noise of the 355. Like others have said, even if there are faster cheaper cars about now, that noise is about as close to perfect as any car can be...heavenly.

You should not have got walked that bad. I have an 04 SMG vert. and raced a 355 vert. both tops down. we were damn near dead even. He got me just barely.

This chaps was the 355F1, different to a standard F355. Not sure what the difference is all I knew it is a 6k upgrade at factory. He had a map on it as well as different exhaust. Or maybe my car was slow because i'm too fat LOL

We didn't have the hard top on. It was heavy enough with me and my mate who are both 13st plus, also I have some heavy JL subs and amps in the back. Still for a heavy convertible it didn't do too bad :-)

ferraris make most of their HP all throughout the powerband. thats why the exhaust note is pretty much the same aside from just the begining of the gear. BMWs are amazing, if your car was turboed you would win

the m3 is a convertible so the diff between the cars is great.if the m3 was a coupe and a smg it would be like a .5 or 6 diff in the m3 is an smg. the 355 is around 13 on the quarter and the m3 is around 13.3-13.8.still the 355 is faster than the m3 stock vs stock

Un M3 puede batir a un 355 de la misma manera que un Evo se lo puede hacer a un M3, por ejemplo. Todo depende de como se entregue y transmita la potencia. El peso y los caballos por supuesto que son importantes pero tampoco son decisivos. El 355 es un cochazo, pero no mejor que un M3 (ni tampoco necesariamente peor). Es "diferente".

Use your head man, its straight line race in the selected gear. The driver hardly has any input in the outcome.
