that"s bullshit the crap they play on the radio is not hip-hop or rap. if you listin to underground hip-hop you woulden't say that. joe budden mood music naz black thought common j cole & the list goes on & on i can see your only stuck in one area of music on word expan!
DO NOT USE TAXI!!! $300 start up fee and $5 a submission?! Not $100 not $150 but $300 for a shot in the dark and no follow ups to your submissions is total bullshit. Compile email addresses and phone numbers and make the moves yourself instead of relying on a get rich quick shady cheap looking website like Taxi. Fuck Taxi! Further info on their lack of success can be found here thomasmoens. com/taxi.htm
he says...."Youth is important. They think the only people who buy music are 13-21."
Really, Youth is only important to this demographic who can carelessly spend their parents' money on whatever is thrown in their face. No matter how shitty... (see Taylor Swift)

this helps, but I hope whoever is watching realizes that at no point do they explain how this works! it's hard getting connections to do these things! let's say I do write music that is good enough to make it into any film or TV show/series.. then what? exactly.
yeah, it's all very convincing, but I haven't really seen any testimonial videos around here! I'm just saying.. it's really expensive and there are no guarantees that you'll even make money are there? sounds like a hole in the pocket to me..
If $300 (one year with Taxi) seems like a risk and a "hole in the pocket" you just don't want it bad enough. That's not a bad thing. Just admit it and don't get into victim thinking where you have no control of your future and the "big bad industry" won't let you in.
Do you think there's a successful artist or songwriter who's made it without invested something BEFORE they knew it would pay off? It's always a risk beforehand. People only call it an investment after the fact when it pays off. I could flip burgers part-time at a fast food restaurant and pay for a Taxi membership in 4-5 weekends. Unless you live in a developing country, $300 is easy come, easy go, if (key word IF) you are serious. Many people invest thousands. Are you serious about it?
Taxi does work. Especially if you don't reside in a major industry hub. I just had a song placed on CBS's The Mentalist through a song library that signed a tune that was forwarded through Taxi. My Taxi membership is one of the best investments I've made.
Film is different to TV, right, because films play all the song? That's where you have to be able to write a whole song. I've done it, to order and very quickly.
