Paul Ashley is a friend of mine from our military school days. I have to give him tons of credit for going up against one of the best fighters in the world. He may have lost the match, but he's always a winner in our book.
Is Wladimir Klitscko russian, because I think I know Paul Ashley's daugter. Well I don't know if this is the same Paul Ashley, but that is her fathers name and he was a boxer.

A VERY good fight! What power Vlad has!! He knocked out Paul with a beautiful sidewater punch while Paul was coming straight ahead! Vlad almost knocked the mouthguard down Paul's throat!!
Wlad sure feasted on a lot of tomato cans in his first 25+ fights. His management shouldn't have been surprised when he fell to the first guy who didn't just get blasted out in 1-2 rounds.
These aren't B and C guys . . this is F and D level. Besides confidence there's nothing an Olympic champion would develop from fighting 25 fighters of this calibre.
That's why he lost to Purrity. And name me another HW champ who lost to Ross Purrity.

erm tommy morrison got a draw with purity but many felt purity was robbed.
Wladimir became the world champ at age 24 by beating chris byrd, let not forget how many champs ducked byrd? and wladimir won the gold medal at 20.
Wladimir risk looking for a ko which cost him the fight, his cornermen threw in the towel
