Actually I was talking about the big Koopa at the end (too). Same materials. And when faced straght and lit from the camera it looks as if it was Lego but again: Printout on cardboard, two strings and a piece of Lego taped on the backside (= for having some weight when keeping balance when in the air)
i don't know what do you mean exactly about synchronization, maybe video and sound? i did the sync with Adobe Audition, but ripped the sounds from the original game.
the camera was a Sony Alpha A-100 digital SLR, so the whole thing is in HD 1080p

its a printout that was glued onto a cardboard and then cut out. actually just like the other in-game sprites but a lot bigger
