  • that guy looks like joel grind

  • This line up will be playing live in Brooklyn tonight. It's gonna is so sick :)

  • Would like to know who is the current vocalist of English Dogs, Adie Bailey or Wakey?

  • @RaiDeNJuNioR Adie Bailey for the metal line up.

  • what guitar is Gizz using ?

  • @rockerganas1993 A piece of shit that never stay in tune, he hates it.

  • AWESOME that you treat Gizz with the Respect he DESERVES.

HE is ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED GUITAR PLAYERS.

    THANK YOU.

    HA HA GO JANUS STARK!!!

  • @joshuaPaskowitz Thank you, there is no other way. I respect him.

  • The English Dogs line up that played this legendary gig is touring the USA in Feb 2012. Any other English Dogs gigs you hear about is NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS LINE UP!! Check this facebook site for updates : EnglishDogs.ForwardIntoBattle . English Dogs with Pinch(Drums) , Gizz (Guitars) and Adie(Vocals) . Punk Metal crossover !!!

  • Fuckin great band!!!!Gives me chills!!!!

  • does anybody have that bass tab? its bloody brilliant

  • Yeah Adie was a great vocalist, and that era Dogs wrote some good stuff, but Wakey is still my favourite Dogs singer... only got to say, what took you so long Wakey? Great to have yer back...

  • anybody here know what kinda bass wattie is playing?

  • saw them with Field Marshal Slug in Wales 1984 ..got Gobbed on....stop spitting u knobs its not clever!! i had to get my jacket dry cleaned at the cost of a fiver....

  • I was THERE dog.

  • @PUNKSINSPACE1 Hey Adie was a good vocalist too. He was Ultra Violent and they were awesome.

  • anyone know of any live footage of The Desecrators?

  • This has been, and will always be, one of my favorite bands since my teens (during the "crossover" era). English Dogs In Your Ipod + Gym = Killer workout!

  • @PUNKSINSPACE1 not for long....

  • Oh dear........

  • Metal punx!!!!!Fuckin great band!!!!

  • Saw them at Narberth Wales 84or 85 with picture frame seduction and Field Marshal Slug and they were not as comic as this?

  • Wow I was at that gig. Crazy night! The Cokney Rejects played that night as well. A lot of skins that night. Wild thing is that the olympic is now a korean church if they only knew the debachury that occurred during these gigs. I can rememeber a full riot after a Dead Kennedy gig, LAPD was chasing punks everywhere.

  • BAD NEWS !

  • I was at this show....I was into the old English Dogs....did not care for these bands going Metal..

  • sooo underrated should have been as big as megadeth and slayer

  • @koochaloo yep.

  • dude...thrash not "trash"

  • Hard to blieve the guitar player joined The Prodigy live...hm....

  • @HateSince88 Gizz did for a minute, but since has created many killer projects, & still playing the Dogs tunes, which soon will be a big announcement for next year. He is also playing with Crass, & his band The More I See.

  • punk is not dead

  • CROSSOVER in his prime!!! great stuff but will be awesome to see them playing "Ordeal by Fire" too, ... and check it out another great underground legend ABANDONED with the album "Killed by Faith", killer stuff too!!!!!

...and by the way the song is "Final Conquest"; "Forward into Battle" is the name of the intro, CHEERS FROM MEXICO AND HEAVY NEW YEAR 2011!!!!!

  • Any one know any bands that sound like English Dogs? These guys are fuckin amazing I love their albums and was wondering if there are any bands with their kinda sound

  • @edwierd256 nope.

  • @edwierd256 Try some Toxic Holocaust. More on the metal side, but its cool as fuck.

  • @edwierd256 try broken bones if you don't already know em.

  • NWOBHM?

  • Skinhead bouncers. You don't see that too much anymore.

  • upload another song or two from this show

  • Saw them on the same tour @ Fenders ballroom. Pinch (drummer) was too drunk and he fell on his drums during the first song. The rest of the band was pissed at him. They ended up playing the entire show without drums. It was a bummer however, they were still bitchen and pulled it off! In a way, it was almost like watching them "unplugged".

  • @SIMPSONSEDITOR I was at both Olympic, & Fenders shows as well.

  • Respond to this video... Would like to see that footage.

  • the riff at is fucking amazing 1:25

  • 0:26 Doesn't that guy look exactly like Joel Grind of Toxic Holocaust?

  • @rudisimo666 had that same thought

  • @rudisimo666 no, he copied English dogs aswell as Black Uniforms, Joel Grind is a poser faggot.

  • That place is a church now. :( It's times like these I wish I had my time machine.

  • Anyone who enjoyes Thrash Experiment English Dogs check out 'English Dogs Top 10 Riffs' Search or go to my channel.

  • where can i find the rest of this concert?

    Thanks for the post!

  • @AndzBrazil Exclusive. You cannot. I am the only one next to my friend that shot the footage. It was authorized by Gizz to only have one song on here so I honored his wishes. He recently asked me to send him the whole show.

  • @newmannow well... thanks for answering anyways. I hope Gizz do something about this... maybe upload it to youtube from his account. They are one of my all time preferred bands. But never had the chance to see o hear them live down here.

    Cheers!

  • @AndzBrazil Like I mentioned, besides myself, am the only other person in the world that has this show.

Until Gizz authorizes more uploads it will not see the light of day. Sorry man.

  • Fucken badass!..Footage!!!!

  • This is fucken sick.>!!!!!

  • "500 thrash and death metal Riffs" ALL uploaded now. 41 parts. 6 1/2 hours of Riffs! Keeping Thrash Metal Alive.....Lots of English Dogs Riffs. Check out parts 4,5,15,17,19,28,32,34,40

Always deserved a better production. Played pretty mean riffs.

  • stupid is your ass hair fag.

  • I'd kill to find a time machine so I could be at this show.

  • I would kill just to kill

and eat chinese orphans, strangle dolphins

and jerk off in your face just to do it

  • up the metal punx!!!

  • This is so fucking great! I remember these guys as one of the first punk/metal crossover bands back then. Kinda like Motorhead in that respect, they drew metal and punk fans alike. I still have this cassette tape! Godda love it!

  • j'adore le punk !!

  • This show was legendary. You have any more footage? Especially any crowd footage. I think every single punk in L.A. was at this show.

  • I was! rad show. youth brigade and the u.k. subs. two huge circle pits.

nowadays you couldn't get a crowd like that together. sui's skins, gutters, crusties, big hairs and death rockers all in one place and getting along. for one, all the so-called punk bands sound like green day now. lame.

  • I was at this show too! Got backstage and hung out with the Dogs. Drank a beer with Pinch. Everything was "you cunt" this and "you cunt" that. lol By the time I got home I had an English accent. My friend Shannon ended up making out with Gizz. Too funny. He's like 6 foot something and she's barely 5 feet if that. lol

  • Great footage, english dogs rules

  • IS THERE ANYMORE FOOTAGE!!

  • Have anybody the tabs of the song i have only the tabs from1:04 - 1:19

  • I doubt it, this band is pretty underground

  • English Dogs, Youth Brigade, Happy World, and 2 other bands. This was the second punk show I ever attended. My first was the UK subs at Fender's ballroom exactly one week earlier. This show was definitely May 9, as they sold English Dogs shirts with "May 9" on them, and a drawing of a dog (with red flecks in his eyes to imply that he was stoned) and the line "Bowzer's night out" underneath.

  • yip you're right.they supported the UK Subs at olympic but gizz buttsz ego got the better of him and demanded they went on last.the subs didn't give a shit and let them appear to be headlining.punk rock eh ha ha.

  • i still have the shirt.

  • wonderful fantastic!

    Gizz "fuckin great guitar" Butt.

    respect n cheers

  • I was actually there. english dogs w/ UK subs. may of '85, not '86. I took the RTD bus from La Puente. I must be old by now.

  • Um, funny this footage was shot by me and 2 other people and the time stamp on the my footage is 1986.

  • memories fade, I got my drivers license in 85, and moved east in 1986. wow you shot this footage!? cool. You dont happen to have any of the other bands that played that night on tape...I really enjoyed this show. Confirm if this was the same show with UK Subs... Thanks newmannow.

  • yip, this is the same show with the subs

  • @newmannow It WAS 1986. You are correct.

  • I love there new album, tales from the asylum!

  • best album ever ...FORWARD INTO BATTLE

  • Comment removed

  • Wow.. thanks for posting this. I was in high school. This gig was in Los Angeles at the Olympic Aud in downtown Los Angeles. I remember some guy got his neck broken at this show - I wonder if he is still alive?

can you post more songs by them...

This was the best line up ever!

They had so much energy on stage...

  • gizz butt owns. fuck destructors666, those sellouts.

  • This is so much better than the old generic punk record!

  • This Band is so Fucking awesome.

I there anymore footage of this Show.

Im With Seth they did have cool hair!

  • Everyone had cool hair... Except Adie. He makes up for it in his vocals though. Haha!

  • poor adie.

  • BETTER PHASE!!!!!!!!

  • This is additional proof that punks can be good musicians.

  • Yes. This shit blows most most mainstream 3 chord pop bands out of the water.

  • sure, most people could be good musicians, but nevertheless 95% of punk musicians arent...

  • What are you saying, SIR?!

  • @SethMoreno1977 everyone who said something against this is a fuvkin´moron! you are right man...but in my opinion is "primitive" music more music than this overproduced crap you can hear this days -.-

sry for my bad english dude

  • FUCKIN ENGLISH DOGS ARE SO AMAZING.

  • any more footage of english dogs?

  • this band is tight

  • Help me find Punk-Metal crossover bands that are not shitty please.

I really like bands like Broken Bones, English Dogs, etc.

  • stop trying

  • Listen kid, I've been into Broken Bones and English dogs longer than you've been alive you 20 year old shit, so shut you cock holder when you have nothing nice to say.

  • theres a TON of grat metal/punk crossover like bands following the tradtion of broken bones, etc. japan has plenty of them-gism, asbestos, final, SDS, etc. more recent bands that play the discharge/broken bones style-disclose (rip), final bloodbath, final, hakuchi...

from sweden you have black uniforms

  • I'm familiar with a few of the bands mentioned. Im not big on Japanese punk/crust, nor am I looking for straight up D Beat

  • hmm..in that case, what about straight up punk rock and roll? newest inepsy album is pretty much rock and roll heavy. what about stuff like toxic holocaust and bludwulf (amazing live, both, btw)

  • Crumbsuckers are the best! - 1st album. Also great were Attitude and Varukers "persistance resistance" album

  • Thanks for the Crumbsuckers recommendation. Its been sooo long since I listened to them.

  • fuck, forgot about desecrators. you prob heard of them, but they rule none the less. member of english dog's side band.

  • listen to beat the bastards and chaos is my life by the exploited, u will love them

  • the exploited's more 'crossover' album is 'death before dishounor'. I also love 'the massacre' which is like speed punk

  • The Blood are a really good punk-metal crossover band. I suggest their album Se Parare Nex.

  • @TehBloggaar

DRI obviously, Onslaught's first LP "Power From Hell", Hellbastard are pretty good kind of like amebix and slayer combined, MOD are good, Final Conflict are decent, Carnivore kick ass RIP Peter Steele, The Accused, Stormtroopers Of Death, Hirax, Dr. Know.

  • PLEASE post more songs from this show. This sh1t slays!

  • The drummer is Pinch. He now plays with the legendary DAMNED!!

  • No shit.

  • Check out The Damned's Grave Disorder CD and you will be dazzled by some kick-ass drumming. Not to mention some of the best Damned songs in years!

  • Very cool. I wasn't aware.

  • very good, pity all the metal fans deserted em like the two bob fly by nights they are!

  • Great stuff! Did you know that Phil Collins had a side project Punk band? Here they are...

  • lol haha

  • THE BEST EVER!

  • this is the holly grail of thrash metal, the missing link has now been found......!

  • Well. Hurry it the fuck up!

  • Holy shitballs, Batman! I'd love to see more footage from the Forward Into Battle era!

  • The golden era for this band, absolutely killer! Thanks for posting this, more please.

  • This is great and just goes to demonstrate how great of a band they were in the metal era. They are a good punk band but an incredible "thrash metal" band. I would love to see more.

  • It's coming down the internet pipe...stay tuned!

  • The last time I saw this lot was at the Lyceum in London in '85. Gizz Butt is nothing Butt the best.
