50% of divorces are caused by pornography? That stat sounds like it was pulled out of someone's ass. Those couples never should have gotten married in the first place, if pornography problems couldn't be worked out through communication and general effort(assuming this stat is even close to accurate).

Also, children getting kidnapped by meeting people that they talked to online? They were lacking common sense, even for 10-17 year-old standards.

The statistics aren't made up. I checked them out. The video doesn't quote all of the statistics exactly right, but they are mostly correct. Big picture - pornography is a big problem in a lot of marriages and the internet is pervasively used by child molesters. Maybe you are a child molester and you don't want the word to get out. Just kidding.

Your comment is funny, however, saying that the stats are made up does not make for fact. I believe that these facts come from a congressional task force on decency and pornography. In other words, very well researched. I'll look for the website that has them and post them here (for all of those trying to defend their hobby with criticism of this psa).

This stat is quoted by many diverse websites - very widespread if it's bogus. The stat I see everywhere is actually that 2/3 of the 350 surveyed AAML lawyers said that porn was a significant factor in 1/2 of their divorces.  The larger point that pornography is a pervasive, destructive factor in marriages is valid.
