why is it that whenever somebody makes a very cool map they don't release it to public, well yes of course they need to apply the finishing touches to it but they don't have to make it take forever! they just have to apply halo 3 weapons and effects and bipeds and vehicles and extras to finish it. look i know i sound dumb but the Pit is an awesome map and i have to say it does look like the one in h3 but......... it still has classic weapons

and bipeds and i might guess the effects are still classic too. Now thats still fact but if they release it alot of people are going to play in it and may even rip the scenery from it cause they think they're so L33T.

Anyways I know that this map is going to be a huge hit if it is released so good luck to the people who's making it......

Unfortunately, in this case it's the rendering engine which will not do everything better. Due to the maps very high triangle count, you do see faces disappearing every now and then, which we are working hard to find away around without sacrificing detail.

The camerawork really needed work, but that's a fantastic looking remake! Almost looks like a Copy/Paste job, it's so realistic. What would've been cool is if on that last clip, when you faded out, you let the respawn timer continue in the background, and after the final beep, do a quick cut with the text. Make it so much more cinematic.
