I would say you are naive. Why? Because we know there are lines of Torah scrolls that can be traced back to Sinai, and they are exactly the same, except for the Yemenite Torah which has about a dozen different letters. The Dead Sea Scrolls authenticate the originals for most of the Bible. There ARE differences in translation as with any document. Hebrew is made up of "sememes" rather than phonemes. See Brad Scott "in my flesh I see god" on you tube. He is brilliant.
when we are there we are alone with ourselves and GOD and no science could decide for us...just respect the belief of other people as we respect your belief...
@lhynne1022 OK...should we respect the belief of the Mulsim who thinks he must beat his wife and sell his daughter at 8 years old? Should we honor their belief in taqqiya, deceit.....the enemy is the deceiver. Should we honor the religion of sex, Kama Sutra?
Is There Scientific Proof Authenticating the Book of MORmOR? No. In fact there is scientific proof authenticating the book of MORmON is completely false. With DNA and Geological Records and Evidence working against it and the Fossil Record Working against as to the origins of Humanity aka Adam And Eve were not born in America. 0x0=0 is the equation of MORmONism. However there is archeological evidence that speaks for Christianity unlike what this video says.
@Outlaw1257 Agreed but you have to admit that the Natives never really sold large plots of land to us. It was simply a ploy to make it seem as if we acquired the land fairly.
Does it make you feel smart and cleaver to capitalize moror? Really... does it? Cause you are in fact a moron if you think that it does... at least spell it correctly you dullard. DNA proves what??? That they are not Jews? Guess what genius, no one claimed they were. It's not your fault you are stoopid... Blame it on your mom.
@Sk8er408 Actually dip shit the MORmONS claim they are the real Jews and that the Jews of the Middle East (The True Jews) are impostors. Hows about you study the religion a little, get your head out of your ass (if possible) and stop bothering me. Cause guess what ship head, your ignorance doesn't hurt me it hurts you. now go cry somewhere jack ass.
@Sk8er408 God you are a dipshit for real, My original comment never talked about them not really being Jews, where the fuck did you get that. However they do claim to actually be the true jews as I said in My previous comment but then you are the fucktard here aren't you. LOL do everyone a favor and go kill yourself or something.
Ignorance is bliss... You claim they are Jews... They never make that claim... It is not that hard to understand... Yet being a dullard as you are you have a hard time with reading comprehension.
Of course DNA proves you right when you are debunking a point they never made... There are 12 tribes of Israel. The Jews are one of them...
As a matter of fact, there is a lot of evidence of the book of mormon. There is increasing support and evidence of it. If it were false, people would be finding less and less proof. It is gaining more and more archaeological support daily as people research. A false document would not get more evidence for it's authenticity, but more evidence againt it as time went on.
I think at least there is *some* evidence for the Bible, historically and archaeologically, even though many claim this is lacking in certain areas. There is none, though, for the Book of Mormon. I think there is enough evidence, however, of God working today. Ask me if you're interested.
It's OK. RELIGION does not save us, on JESUS can according to the word of God. Don't get caught up in the baloney of works and rituals. Remember when Elijah made a sacrifice on the alter to God, it was just plain water and God accepted it.
my grandpa worked for a government company and they made a machine to figure out who wrote ransom notes he put in two different chapters that were said to be written by different people that joseph smith translated and it said that chances of them being the same person were 1 in 12 bilion.
Interesting lies going on in this video. There are hundreds of archeological evidences that prove the Book of Mormon are true, and that this video is completely false. Of course, this will probably just be deleted
Why would I delete your comment. Sounds to me that you are used to a "us vs the world" mentality and are ruthless to those with an alternative opinion. On the other hand I am not.
So hundreds of archeological evidences? Would you care to make a video response with these evidences in. I am sure you would like to correct my "lies". If I am unaware of any evidences how can I lie?
@deeshirley Oh, sure there are!! Just ask FAIRLDS, FARMS, the Maxwell Institute.....
Of course, recognized and respected research groups like The National Geographic Society, Smithsonian. they've also researched and scrutinized these "evidences"................ (NOT!!)
As for your post "being deleted?? As of this posting, it's been three years since you posted.
Non-Mormons have no need to screen postings before allowing then or resort to censorship. MORmONs, however?? That's a different story.
1. Doesn't really apply to the above. Other than they agree about what I say about the bible i.e. it's untrue that there is any archaeological proof that these christians say. There was a little feel in the video like bring down the bible a peg or two and raise the book of mormon up a peg or two which is understandable. But I stick with my statement no scientific proof for either book.
2. Nahom as said in the video - could have been seen on a map it may have. If it wasn't then the odds would be small that he made it up - but then you have to look at all the other claims the book of mormon makes and the odds of all the others being backed up also are far smaller than the nahom one! Land at Jerusalem is a good explanation but again isn't scientific proof.
I appreciate your comments, and I'm not sure if you are pro LDS or anti. Non the less I know there will be both sides as there must be opposition in all things.
Absolute truth - in concept is idealistic - can never be achieved yet man seeks it due to his curiosity. The only thing is once man gets to one horizon of truth it always escapes his grasp.
Faith cannot substitute for the quest of knowledge and truth. Taking an answer or explanation on faith isn't getting an answer at all. Why would an answer require faith?
Uneducated, and emotional. There is evidence that points in both directions, for the book and against it. For the leaders and against them. To say all evidence points one way or the other is naive and argumentative. One generally finds what he seeks, and describing the book as a work of fiction is simply an emotional statement, definitely not helpful to either side of the question.
Lotus - Generally, yes a book of fiction is a book of fiction. However, when you make a claim that a book is fiction when that is not it's purpose, then you are stating an opinion. An opinion is NOT fact.
It is amazing how the religious can contort a simple statement to fit their view. It is not my opinion that your book is fiction. Do the research not just on your religious faith but on all and you will find the truth. The truth does not come in the holy text.
3. It's interesting to see what current latter-day scholars have to say about the geography - but you can't help thinking that the prophets and the general membership can't try and fit the locale of the events there. Especially when Joseph and other general authorities have made statements or even found the bodies (ok body) of a prophet 1000s of miles away - Zenith or Zelph or something like that - memory escapes me. Still no scientific proof just guesses, hypothesises and confusion.
So ther is no sientific proof for the Bible or the Book of Mormon... Ya know its funny, when proving the book of mormon to be true the bible is also proven true. They just go hand in hand. On that we agree.
I would say you are naive. Why? Because we know there are lines of Torah scrolls that can be traced back to Sinai, and they are exactly the same, except for the Yemenite Torah which has about a dozen different letters. Also, that the predicted cities have
no evidence. When a theory makes predictions that are wrong, the theory is often wrong.
