Wrong, it all depends on the effect of the item, it will probably say, Causes 800-1000 nature damage or something. It isn't dtermined on your crit

Lol goblin has the same thing. its a trinket gives 51+stam and you fire a huge rocket :D its way better imo

But then again, the Deathray has a huge range. You can hit 1600 once and hit 300 the next time. The Deathray also damages you.

And the Rocket has a crapload of stam and a stunlock when you use it.

Dont also forget the de-buff that the rocket uses. Damage over time to the enemy you hit. Believe it was fire damage.

I don't really like the separation of gnomish and goblin engineering, but well they can still were each other's item at least ... you just have to ask a friend to make one item that you can't make... so if you have a friend that is gnomish engineering you should go for goblin so you can exchange items.

The Gnomish Death Ray is awesome. Unfortunately, it should NOT be a last ditch effort if you're at low hp... It's fun as a rogue, cause ya just gouge em and death ray! :D Most I've critted was 2.5k (though you can get up to 5k if you're lucky)

Shopebay1 is wrong, everyone (including gnomes, despite their racial) cannot use this item until the minumum level of 30 or 35, can't remember which. This is due to the requirement of training in gnomish engineering to get the pattern for this item (the pattern is trained and the item is BoP)
