This game is a mixed bag for me, the music is great, but being spoiled by metroid castlevania and megaman all also on the NES, the games game play never was there for me, still decent, never gonna finish it, but still playable.

I just beat this game this year. Although the game is tough (like most NES games) it is still a seriously good game, no matter how "odd" some of the things in it might seem. I also like the Original, Japan only Goonies for the NES. Its just as good, if not better than this one. NES has so many gems, and thanfully, the majority of them were released in the US (unlike SFC/SNES).

waaaay back... it was a good game... tears... frustration, anger, happy, confusion, victory... these things i felt when i was a kid, they did a good job with this game! Took me a few weeks to beat this game! The music made the game even better!

Those are some powerfully frustrating memories, and spot on calling that the music was just incredible. I hated the ice stage so much. Still can't remember if I ever beat the game. Weren't there flippers and underwater crap too? Game was insane.

yeah, i love the beginning song for goonies 2. probably one of the best songs on nintendo. i actually found out that the song's name is goonies r good enough earlier this year by messing around on youtube. i always knew that it had to be a cindy lapur song, sounds like girls just wanna have fun.

It's an awesome remake.

Yeah, for those who don't know, Cindy Lauper's Goonies "R" Good Enough is the main theme of the game. Unfortunately that's all of the music information that I could find out about this game... and that's no help to garudoh.

I think they are in the process of making a 2nd movie with all the Original Cast. I think the storyline is the original goonies will have kids and there kids will set out on a adventure on their on. I think it is in progress.
