Thank you for clearing up my confusion. I tried and tried to read the instructions and do it that way but after ripping it out about 7 times I thought to look on youtube to see if anyone had added a video about it. Yeah. Now I understand it. Thanks so much but you leave us hanging when your phone rings. I suggest maybe redoing it and finishing it for those of us who would like to know how to turn and start the next row.

Anyway, it is not a "post" that you are going into - I'm not sure if there is a name for it but it is actually the top of the stitch from the row below.
