  • This band and the whole pub rock scene got ignored by the music press, but even now they have a loyal following. Shows how much fasionable critics know. There's nothing more anathema to a music critic than working class people unapolagetically having fun with music without any spin or gimmic.

  • British r&b at it's best, saw them a few times-can't remember which London pubs, I used to see Brinsley Schwarz at The Greyhound around the same time

    Used to frequent The Nags at Wycombe quite a lot, didn't see The Bees, but saw Darts, Elvis Costello and a few others waaay back!
