@vacuumlover1 My DC24 does the same noise. It just doesn't sound very smooth compared to other vacuum cleaners Ive used.

It doesn't seem to be very effective on the fluff material. I have this Dyson DC24 at home and like it but feel it doesn't do a good job on grooming my carpets. I had a Sebo Felix for a few days and was impressed with the grooming performance.

@blakaeg Well with a tiny 6 amp motor thats in a clean air design it just doesnt have that much suction.Its very cute though and easy to store.Just not good for large areas:)

@blakaeg You should try the Dyson dc17 or Dc28. It is actually made for medium pile carpets.

@blakaeg I have this Dyson DC24 too and I feel that grooms my carpets just fine. I don't care which performs better than the DC24 I just appreciate it for as it is.
