I hope you've added to your impressive collection and are pressing on in your apologetics work--we need men like you who are winsome and open-minded (as opposed to those who are arrogant and pompous, e.g., pop apologist James White). Dollar book store?!! Nothing like that where i live. I have to drive 250 miles to San Antonio to the Half Price Books store. I spent a fortune there last week with my family. Great find!

I've seen one dollar book store before in Arizona and I was into horror books at the time. Great finds though. Out of all those bibles the one I like a lot right now is the New Living Translation (NLT).

My local library has donated books for as cheap as a quarter. But we never see Bibles in the pile....

WHAT? Dollar book store? I'm so jealous! Great finds. :) How fun is that! My best find as far as a used book was a book by Clarence Larkin of dispensational charts, from around 1900. It had a few pages with pyramid charts related to prophecy; i kid you not! LOL
