  • Really great short drama. Strong performances!!

  • If I was that postman I'd have had the cuppa. A cup of coffee with Lynsey Baxter, how could anyone pass that up!

  • And how nauseating is it when actors say ''i did this film because it seemed like a lot of fun'' what they really mean is ''i did this film because i pretend to be other people and get a 3 month holiday plus $10 million!

  • Nothing special about acting! It's easy anyone can do it, getting megabucks for simulating emotions!?? Actors are waaaaay overrated, they are just puppets being told what to do by a Director..it's not rocket science is it?

  • Ehh should've sent her home.

  • Damn, this should be nominated for an oscar

  • Absolutely brilliant. The best short I've seen. Outstanding acting. Lynsey Baxter is the most under-rated actress in this country. She should have much more recognition.

  • beautiful tune of music at the end of the they acting of this clip

  • A heart breaking portrayal of a woman with advanced Alzheimer's disease and the strain of care on the daughter who finds the role reversal, lonliness and lack of support hard to bear. This story brought a lump to my throat. Congratulations to all involved in this film.

  • I use to watch her in the primes of miss jean brodie, and I would always have a wank over her and amanda kirby, who played Jenny. OOOHH the good old days

  • That was really good, beautiful location and wonderful acting. Very sad.

  • This clarifies the cicle of life, when parents become children again and kids start to take care of them. The replacement of kids and parents.

    well done, extremely clever

  • Gorgeous photography! And very touching characters!

  • excellent actors...this film touched my heart D;

  • This was Far too Sedate for me. And no Music?

  • @therealKINDLE I have since watched it again, & enjoyed it very much. It's very sad though. Life can be so cruel.

  • There are of millions of sick case's between mothers and children.

  • NO.this is no love..this is fear to choose. The daughter cannot exhaust her whole life to take care of the mother, who instead had the opportunity to live a normal life till that moment.

It is not mandatory that the mother must die...but she need to take some decision. it's nature.

  • Awesome! Great acting ! 5/5

  • excellent acting. outragingly marvellous

  • damnnnn... that was really fricken good! i think i would want to put the mom out of her misery tho. she looks so sad =( demensia</3

  • What a beatiful peice of art! so heart wrenching =')

  • Excellent movie! I felt those all with my mom...

  • This touched my heart, reignited my passion for film and showed me only the deepest love.

  • One really good movie..

All they have is each other.. only thing that helps them through difficult times..

    love it..

  • Now, that's love ...

  • the mail man dumb ass shit ,i would been in there with her

  • Wow this is brilliant ; very emotional, nice!

  • heart felt :(

  • Incredable acting!!!

  • Jane is beautiful.

  • Yes, she is very beautiful. In several shots, she looks a lot like Jane Seymour, another very beautiful woman.

  • Very good film, well done Amy and all those involved. Nice acting, sad story but real, there are people out there like this, great stuff, would make a very good feature, potential academy winner!

  • so beautiful

  • This is accualy a film, I havnt seen acting like this in along time, same goes for Juvenile.

  • Nice to see Jane Lapotaire.

  • Very well done.

  • Absolutely beautiful. This is what I call a film, and this is acting. Not all that Hollywood crap.. this was pure emotionl and modest. Well done!!

  • It stirs my thoughts to thinking how we need to look after our elderly and imparcticular our parents when they grow old. At times it may be hard but it's the right thing to do ( I guess that may mean a home as suggested below but even then we should support them properly rather than forgetting about them).

  • Great Video! As a reminder. You are not a failure if you decide to put your loved one with" Alzheimer's" in a home. We are completely dedicated too their care only. This woman clearly shows its too much to handle alone and her Mother was in the mid stages. It gets worse.

  • truly beautiful. thank you.

  • Very emotional and wonderful.

  • Beautiful picture, great acting, deeply emotional. I only wish for more closure at the end.

  • there are so many things that are beautiful about this.

  • sacrifice ...

  • loved it

  • A wonderful piece on love and devotion. What a sense of isolation as well.

  • Exquisite.

  • i think it just shows that how strange is the human!!!!!!!!!!

  • subtle and startling

    saying much without much

  • This made me.. sad.

  • THIS, is the definition, of art.

  • Just Beautiful.

  • Sometimes it quite painful to be "human"

    Beautiful.

  • simply amazing, deeply touching, sublimely woot, with win sauce

  • intense on so many levels ... THIS is the reason I subscribe to future shorts !

  • brilliant !

  • beuatiful, strong... i like it... thanx

  • Having been in the role of caretaker, I want to thank you for your powerful portrayal of the experience. It can be this desolate and lonely. I found the film too distressing for the moment, but thank you for so lovingly capturing the experience, the range of emotion.

  • This was a fantastic piece of art

  • Awe, that wuz so sveet, hmm. :')

  • I disagree with most of the comments about it being sad. i mean it has very bleak style, but on the whole it is not sad. it has a happy ending. its warming

  • What did she have? Was it just because she was old?

    I cried. Lol. Sad...

  • @Winters7Roses she had dementia I live with my great aunt and she does the same exact thing except the scissors go in her pocket and sometimes she wants to use them to defend herself with them from the foreigners or use them to make us open the door for her..

  • what a talent the've got. ...

  • very sad,but well done

  • The younger actress is beautiful.

  • She's so strong in this sadness and sorrow...

  • That's just so sad. It's very well done

  • what a great job! made me cry

  • It is a sad reality that this happens. Some people cannot handle the stress of taking care of a loved one in that position and some actually do "put them out of their misery". It sounds bad to put it that way. A very sad short indeed.

  • wonderful short!

  • okay i don't mind you rating my comment down. but were her boots Hunters?

  • i feel kind of disturbed and touched. actually im not sure what im feeling but this was very well done.

  • Very sad, but yet great short.

  • sad yet extraordinary movie

  • Lovely video :)

  • =[ I am crying.

  • Oh shit, I saw this on the Fim Festival section on ON Demand. This was a pretty good short

  • how very sad :'(

  • very touching. so sad

  • i liked the candle smoke, wonder how they got it to behave like that..

  • i was wondering the exact same thing

  • amazing

  • Quite extraordinary.

  • so good.

  • Wow. That's all I have to say. Brilliant acting, really compelling story line. I like that it didn't really have a 'finalized' ending, no 'it's over!' moment, bit it still felt complete.

  • great movie the acting was really good

  • most touching I've seen for long time, not alike this year.

    thank you

  • perfect short story

  • omg i want to never be old but i know that won't happen D:

  • I agree with olive1913--very well done.

  • very well made and the acting was great. indeed it was very sad but im even more impressed about how deep that short movie went.

  • It was absolutely awesome, however I personally didn't really like it.

  • Dementia is just this way. So confusing and sad with glimmers of humanity.

  • wow, really got the chills.

  • that was really sad

    but awesome acting

  • ehh.. ya

  • wow, really moving

  • Jake the postie as himself :P

Fantastic job guys, well done as always FS delivers.

  • That's so sad..

  • I find the disconnectedness so depressing, it would drive me insane.

Awesome film, I found it really sad though.

  • This made me cry.I know as my mother's only child I would feel the like it was my responsibility to take care of her if something happened. THe daughter shows absolute devotion to her mother even when she tries to drown her...

  • @XxtehGreyfoxX oh yeah thanks. tell us what happens.

  • haha

    awesome

u guyz beat me every time
