  • Pokemon now is crap barney is now pink and gose to park shutters Jim Henson's children sold out their father's genius to different companies seasame street is Elmo crazed with a fairy to boot Disney channel has done weird things things Jim henson would have never done and no one knows where fraggles are. This is so ridiculous it's funny not the song what's happened in short time is ridiculous its funny song is cute

  • RIP

  • sorry Jim that your dead

  • Happy bithday jim

  • Happy Birthday, Jim Henson. You are still being fondly remembered and your work is still going strong.

  • Happy Birthday, Jim.

  • who are the 6 soulless bastards who disliked this!?!

  • @SanFranGirl1982 i know

  • Easy being green. RIP

  • How could anyone dislike this?

  • Very good work.. Jim henson even thought you died before i was born,i love you and you 'll always be my hero, till i die... You live in my heart and through your muppets... i would give EVERYTHING just to have a little conversation with you! rest in piece,my hero of my childhood <3

  • The title makes you think the singer's going to hell, and then it turns out to be a loving, wonderful tribute. Great video for a great song!!

  • @babymoondancer Oh, the singer is still going to hell. Just not for this song. It was decided somewhere between "Special Olympics" and "For the Ladies".

  • @ChibiPenguinChan It's true. But those songs have titles you'd think nothing of. This song is an inverse of what Lynch usually does with his songs.

  • @babymoondancer You should listen Craig Christ and then rethink whether not he's going to this place you call "hell".

  • I really love this song/video. You did a great tribute video for this song.

  • I LOVE THIS! JIM HENSON WILL ALWAYS BE MY HERO!!!

  • R.I.P. Jim. We'll miss U.

  • Great song. Shitty video. Guess we can't all be talented.

  • i really think the power rangers really started to suck after the ninja one. they started to get desperate after that.

  • this is the first thing I've ever seen Steven Lynch take seriously. I'm glad at least something's sacred to him.

  • At the very least, he's left one of the most positive legacies one can.

  • 2:24 is that all the Muppets Jim performed?

  • He died a month and 14 days before I was born, never got a chance to see him actually alive which kinda sucks, but its no worse than him dying period! RIP Jim

  • If Jim was still with us, Sesame Street would NOT have become THE ELMO SHOW. Yes, Jim will live on in our hearts, but look at what producers have done to his magic characters...and not for the better.

  • pokemon can go screw themselves. SESAME STREET WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS!

  • @koalahondasmartcar ya, until they added that elmo crap... i stopped watching Sesame Street when they put him in...

  • I was of course terrifed when I first saw the title of this song years ago. Loving the Muppets as I do, and Stephen. Then when I played it I cried. When I first met Stephen, the first thing I told him was how much this song meant to me. It's my favorite!

  • Happy 40th Sesame Street!!

  • Stephen Lynch is a beast.

  • Rip jim henson been dead for 19 yrs nd still getting views

  • R.I.P to Jim Henson thank you for sesame street and the muppets

  • Your comment = FAIL.

I do like some of Bo's songs though.

  • When I first got this album I avoided the song a few times. Was surprised when I finally listened to it.

  • I'm pretty sure you missed the point of that verse. He's saying that Barney and Power Rangers lost popularity, as opposed to the Muppets that are still (in the Lynch's mind) just as great.

  • @ChibiPenguinChan but pokemon still pwns them all :D

  • lol

  • -5 wtf that's hallerios(yeah,i can't spell for shit)

  • hilarious. Write it down, go forth and sin no more.:)

  • So sad. I'm doing my memorial project on him b/c i think he was sooo great!

  • This song and "A Boy and His Frog" never fail to choke me up. Being able to pull a tear from a cynic like me is testiment to Jim Hensons' shining legacy. One of the people that made my childhood great. Because we love him, he will always be alive.

  • lynch forgot those dinosaurs.

  • the muppets and the friendly monters will carry Jims name untill the end.....R.I.P jim....we shall miss you

  • I dont know why... But I assumed this song would have been funny...

  • you are greatly missed, Jim. I will see you when Jesus comes for us

  • Many afternoons were spent enjoying his ingenuity when I was young. He has brought so much happiness to the lives of so many people in this world. :)

  • that was so cute. i love Jim Henson.

  • I love you Jim, wherever you are.

  • I was only 4 years old when Jim passed, I always wanted to meet the genius who thought up Elmo and Ernie and Big Bird and Kermit and all the rest of those guys on TV who were realer to me than some of my schoolmates He will be sorely missed. But as long as one kid out there still loves his muppets and believes that somewhere theres a lovesick pig and a singing frog and a street where friendly monsters and birds and snufulupaguses all live in harmony He'll never really truly be dead and gone. RIP

  • true akk of tht!

  • nice song, but it's kinda weird knowing that Stephen Lynch is the one who sings this song.

  • I was six when Mr. Henson died. I was inconsolable for a month...

  • I have this on my cell phone and every time it rings it plays this song. Sutch a nice tribute. :-)

  • I am a huge Henson fan, and I really love this song (sadly, Jim died the year I was born...). It makes me sad to see how few people my age actually know who he is; for example, one day this guy came to school with a big beard (he had been out sick for a week and a half and didn't feel like shaving) that made him look like Jim Henson. I kept telling him he looked like him, and sadly he had no clue who I was talking about...

  • yeah its a shame my niece who loves elmo and sesame street will never know the man who created them

  • @Lycanthrope777 They don't know? That's the most depressing thing I've ever heard. They must be educated.

  • god bless you great man....RIP

  • WHY MUST THE GOOD DIE YOUNG!!!!!! :( :(

  • I take great comfort in knowing, that Jim was too good for this world =).

  • @frostyapple101 but only the young die good...

  • Q_______Q... Why do all the good ones go?

  • I watched this last night, and I've had this song in my head all day! Thanks for the song. It's funny and sad and I like it!

  • great song the pictures are a little delayed but still good

  • nice tribute song with a little comedy thrown in i can belive hensons been dead for 18 years. R.I.P Jim

  • cant*

  • He was a good man i named my snake after him

  • i thought this song was a joke. I'm glad he didn't poke fun of jim's trageic death. He meant a lot to a lot of people... and his visions live on in all he inspired

  • great song. Thanks for posting this.

  • this song is friggin' awesome.

  • Jim Henson = God

  • Wait a minute! When the Muppets are holding up Jim Henson,s pichers at 02:22 I saw two Kermits!

  • I just saw your comment on the Jim Henson tribute. You may have already found all this out by now, but here goes anyway. The Kermit on lower left was the proto-type of the current. He was not yet a frog, just lizard like. He was a puppet on Jim Henson's Washington D.C. based kids show "Sam and Friends" which aired from '55-'61. He was the only "surviving" character. The bald guy above the other Kermit is Sam.

  • awesome

  • Wow, this song is beautiful, I mean Wow, I would have never believed it, Stephen Lynch, this, Wow.

  • Jim Henson was on my opinion a GENIUS !!!!

  • please do not hurt me again by saying "the power rangers lost their will to fight."

  • cool !

  • Beautiful...

  • Awsome I would love a coppy!

  • Im sorry about that. I truely love this video

  • This was a great tribute, I thought it was going to make fun of him but i was wrong.

  • If it was making fun, I wouldn't have posted it.

  • Oh i ment the song not the video, Diddn't mean to offend you. I love this song and video

  • If the song was offensive to Jim Henson, I wouldn't have made a video to it. Offending other people I have no problem with, but Jim Henson's a hero to me, so I wouldn't post a song with a video making fun of him.

  • John Denver and Jim Henson were my childhood heroes.Only two celebrity deaths apart from Steve Irwin that made me cry.

  • Ok, whoever this gay blookup is can go rot in a rubbish dump cause you obviously have no heart or brain for that matter cause you can't spell and this earth should not be wasted on scum like you.

  • Dude! This songs too sweet! To the writer and composer of this song; Is there any possable way I could get it down-loaded onto my MP3? Whoever migth know-E-mail me!

    T

  • google Stephen Lynch

  • Thanx for the tip. I'm go'n for it! :)

  • Great song from one of my favourite singers to a great entertainer.

  • When Jim Henson died they took Kermit off Sesame Street and got rid of Guy Smiley. :(

  • Is this guy happy Jim is dead?

  • he's a comedian, so most of his songs are upbeat, but I think it's more accepting the fact that he's moved on, but his legacy will stay alive through his muppets.

  • Sis, why does the annoying retard 'blookup' think we live in a trailer park?

  • It's so sad... I'd give both my legs to have been able to work with him. Thankfully Frank Oz is still among the living, and maybe we still got a chance of working with him one day...

    BTW - Nice editing :)

  • Thanks, I don't like the number part though... it doesn't match up right.

  • Frank Oz said he loved working with Jim Henson when they did the voices of Ernie and Bert.

  • I'm pretty sure he loved working with him when they did Kermit and Gonzo too :)

  • I agree.

  • hay, I posted twice by accident. So to chibipenguingay yoo kin suk mi mutherfukin asshill. and yis i am special. Bi the way,yoo post way too much on your own page. shut the fuk up and i wont cum over to your trailer park to kick your very attractive face in. bless yoo.

  • Again, I can tell that you're special because you still lack the ability to type or spell. Honestly, were you raised in a barn? Now, you ill mannered cow, get a life, stay away from me, and watch your language, little kids listen to this song.

  • You made a ton of mistakes, I'll send you a message with all of them, because there are FAR too many to fit within the 500 character limit that youtube has.

  • hay, I posted twice by accident. So to chibipenguingay yoo kin suk mi mutherfukin asshill. and yis i am special. Bi the way,yoo post way too much on your own page. shut the fuk up and i wont cum over to your trailer park to kick your very attractive face in. bless yoo.

  • Seriously, if you made the same mistake twice, you need to see a doctor about how screwed up you are.

  • Just let him go, and he'll get more frustrated by your tolerance than he would by anything you can possibly say.

  • This really is very beautiful. Can I download it as mp3 somewhere?

  • I don't know if you can download it... I have the CD. Send me a message with your email I can send the song to you, if you want me to.

  • are you really so full of yourself that you think you're important enough to post that twice, or are you just an idiot? I mean, honestly, I can already tell that your a complete moron just because you seem to find the need to say that a song sucks when the only tags are the title and artist, but to post the same thing twice? And what is English to you? Second, third, forth launguage? You is spelt 'you' not 'yoo'. Learn to type and spell you pathetic excuse for a human.

  • blookup, that is VERY disrespectful to the late, great Jim Henson. Very much so. If I were ChibiPenguinChan I'd not only mark you as spam but block you. [can you block users?]

  • His disrespect is exactly why I can't let it go. You can block users.

  • I just cried watchng this.

    I'm not kidding.

I love Jim Henson. I'm wearing a Fraggle Rock shirt right at this very moment.

I don't think I've EVER cried from watching a movie or a vidio or anything like that.

    Jesus.

    R.I.P., Jim. <3

  • wow... I didn't think anyone has ever gotten emotional when I posted a video... maybe some people got angry, but never sad like that. Jim Henson was a genius, I wish he hadn't died.

  • I wish that too! I also wish Steve Irwin did not die too! Or Walt Disney! Or Chuck Jones! :(

  • It sucks that those people did so much, yet in the end they still died. It's kind of depressing.

  • that's so weird and funny ^^
