@jumper 01. I have an 03 93 vector with over 170,000 miles on it and it's still going strong. I'm pulling the motor out this spring and completley overhauling it! Saabs are a fine tuned Swedish performance automobile that gives porche a run for its money stock.

to day i clocked 100mph on A12 motor way cuz honda crv try see a little power my saab is 2.oi 9-5 . I don.t knw why any bmw driver see saab they geting mad in UK. last time I force to colcked 120 MPH but london motor ways to much camera thats why I just pull for max 20sec

I love saabs, but just the reliability is on the bad side which is scaring me to buy one, I haven't really seen many 03+ 9-3's go further than 80k, well haven't heard of any, just from what I saw listed for sale, most people sell when it hits 40k

SAAB? - just a name build from people who like to be different.The turbo for 98-02 9'5 V6 cost $2000.They all start leaking before the car reach 100 000 mi.And try to change the timing belt - you will find yourself in a big problem.I have owned 2 of them 99 9'5 V6 96 000 mi and 00 9'5 4cyl 55 000 mi - they both are - G A R B A G E!!!Only feels good when you driving and that is about it - SEE SAAB TOP GEAR

got 03 9-3 2.ot and soooooooo true about parts falling apart.....my car just went over 65000miles and

new rotor/pads-500 pair so 1000 dollars for both

6000mile maintenance 800dollars

ASI pump 600 and sway bushing corroded(made sqeek noises) 200 etc etc

cost so damn much and don't even get me started on recalls...

The ignition coil /trionic/ gets burned once in a while and cost used $200 that is on my SAAB 2000.I didn't even check how much is brand new .Get rid of yours and get BMW 530i best reliable luxury car ever made.I drove one 180 000 miles and feels like just came out of the dealership. BMW FOREVER AMAZING CARS !SIMPLY THE BEST!!!!

At least you are going in the right direction now.Just keep it that way.You wil get it sooner or later.I am sorry about your SAAB and about SAAB as a company, because they realy got the good agressive look, but that is the only thing they've got and the transmissions are good too.I'd like to get the new M5 or 550i stick shift, but is hard time now for everybody.GOOD LUCK!!!

i do agree ... somewhat ... dont forget the last true Saab was in 1999 when gm still only had 50% of Saab cuz in 2000 thats when they bought the other 50% and made them more GM based than anything. easy way to tell. look at a 1999 and the badging say "Saab scarna" and in 2000 i was just "Saab" the new ones are nice. but not a true saab

yes, it´s too bad.. because americans can´t build cars that last for more than 150000km.. then they start falling apart.. then GM built a SAAB SUV, that was a complete fuck up. SAAB developed the turbo techniqe to get more km to the liter. back in the 80´s it stod betwen a V6 engine or turbo. they went turbo.
