I love this movie but my only complaint was the werewolves !! they were trying to use a movie technology(cgi) that was not quite there yet for the time of this movie(1997)they should have used Animatronics

it was more of a sequel to the original one not a remake though,but of course not continuing the previous story line in any way, it deviates to much from the original film to be a remake this movie just takes the extreme basic over view of the original than does it's own thing completely,plus the original was more of a horror drama with a splash of witty comedy,this film is about 50% straight comedy 25% horror and 25% adventure

I love it, too. For me it has all what a good movie should have: humour, action, tension, horror, sights, erotic, beautiful women, monsters and- oven underestimated- a political message, i.e.: Nationalism is bad, but also respectless tourism and imperialism.

I've seen this movie and it's actually pretty good. It's not an oscar winning classic but it's entertaining and very well made.

To see Pierro Cosso here took me by surprise! Instant 80s flashback - La Boum 2 - Cinederalla with Bonnie Bianco - so handsome! He is still sooo cute! His eyes are amazing!
