I want more motor out of the Challengers, they have decent power now but the SRT8s are hanging with the GT and SS and the R/T is lost in the middle between that and V6 territory, granted id still totally buy an R/T just for the thrill of it, even if the performance is lower, but still, more power, put a bigger cam in the R/T Classics for that real old school thumper sound, then put the new 6.4 in the SRT8, or hell put the V10 in the SRTs and put the 6.4 in the R/Ts =D
In case you have not heard, the new 6.4's will have 478 hoeses and can accellerate from 0-60 in 3.9 Seconds.
They are set to come out November 29, 2010. The first model will be an inaugural Edition. White seats, the 6.4, (BTW Will BE 392 Cu.in,) And Blue-White paint job.

OK, So explain to me why the SRT cost's $10,000 more than the R/T, for 50 more HP and brembo brakes and suspension? I spent $3000 on my suspension, exhaust, and headers and a CAI. I have 50 HP for a fraction of the cost. Granted, I did not buy a brake upgrade, the brembo's shortened the stopping distance by 3ft. No worth it to me.
So what you meant to say, the best bang for the Buck is the R/T model, not the SRT.
No, I didnt actually and its not just the 2 things that you listed are different for one there were only a limited supply made of the SRT which means it will eventually become a collectors car, the difference between the SRT and the RT is not just suspension, its not that important to me to explain all the differences of the car over the internet so go read up on it.

no actaully the base price for these new challengers will be around 26g, because they will be making the v6 and v8 models(2.7L, 3.5L, 5.7L). The top spec srt8 Challenger will most likely cost about 46g, and with options the price will probably top out around 48g.
But how far do you have to go to get to work or school. So many people in my country were stupid enough to move away from where they go every day. These jokers live in the suburbs, country or rural towns even when they go to the city for everything. On person my mom works with comutes 60miles to and from work every day! These people don't seem to get WHY they are spending so much. For example, I only comute less than 2 miles round trip and the gas prices (although bad) don't bother me as much.
Of course the ways are shorter here in germany, but a lot of people have to drive a hundreds kilometres every day to get to work too. Especially in the east of germany the unemployment rate is high and you get work only in the bigger cities.
I thought about putting a lpg tank in my car... thats much cheaper.

Chevy will go with the 6.0L LS2 most likely and the same power rating, but ....the Camaro is 500Lbs lighter making it a legitimate performance platform instead of a Charger with what looks like a Challenger wrapping. DOdge is going to tarnish the Challenger heritage with this behemoth.
The Charger has nothing to do with the Challenger. The Challenger is much lighter than the Charger. Chevy has NEVER said they would put the 6.0L in the Camaro. Chevrolet is great and everything, but they really messed up with the new Camaro. The Challenger is not being tarnished, but reborn. Dodge has already said the new Challenger will outperform the old one easily. Also, The 6.1L HEMI gets better torque and horsepower than the 6.0L Chevrolet engine.

no actaully the base price for these new challengers will be around 26g, because they will be making the v6 and v8 models(2.7L, 3.5L, 5.7L). The top spec srt8 Challenger will most likely cost about 46g, and with options the price will probably top out around 48g.

But how far do you have to go to get to work or school. So many people in my country were stupid enough to move away from where they go every day. These jokers live in the suburbs, country or rural towns even when they go to the city for everything. On person my mom works with comutes 60miles to and from work every day! These people don't seem to get WHY they are spending so much. For example, I only comute less than 2 miles round trip and the gas prices (although bad) don't bother me as much.

Of course the ways are shorter here in germany, but a lot of people have to drive a hundreds kilometres every day to get to work too. Especially in the east of germany the unemployment rate is high and you get work only in the bigger cities.
I thought about putting a lpg tank in my car... thats much cheaper.
Anyway I got my car for fun - and that fun is gettin more expensive every day!

You have to show your car there every two years and if something is not in the correct german way you won´t get your tüv sticker and you are not allowed to drive your car until you changed the things the tüv technican doesn´t like.(rims, spoiler, exhaust, ...)
You must have insurance for your car!
You have to pay taxes for your car!
You have to pay expensive gas!
You have to pay for tüv!

In some cities you have to pay for a sticker that shows that your car isnt polluting the environment. If it hasn´t the necassary technic like rußpartikelfilter and Kat you are not allowed to drive your car in that city!!!

Its too bad for us Mopar fans, it was a good idea but the performance just isnt going to be there until they can shave about 500Lbs off of it or its just not going to be competitive.The hype is fooling everyone but I see the writing on the wall in the horsepower to weight ratio.

No this guy is right. The new Challeger is a real porker. Explains the 13/18 fuel economy...dayum. At least it looks awsome. Notice they never show the interior though. That's because it's incredibly stark and bland, just like the interior of the 300.

the gas door is on the wrong side,in the 1970 model, it was on the passenger side, to much black plastic under the hood,needs more chrome,could get after market I guess??Get RID of the AUTOSTICK junk and get a real manual tranny(coming in 09 I heard)( 6 speed tremec)get away from those 20" wheels already!!!.

Chevy will go with the 6.0L LS2 most likely and the same power rating, but ....the Camaro is 500Lbs lighter making it a legitimate performance platform instead of a Charger with what looks like a Challenger wrapping. DOdge is going to tarnish the Challenger heritage with this behemoth.

The Charger has nothing to do with the Challenger. The Challenger is much lighter than the Charger. Chevy has NEVER said they would put the 6.0L in the Camaro. Chevrolet is great and everything, but they really messed up with the new Camaro. The Challenger is not being tarnished, but reborn. Dodge has already said the new Challenger will outperform the old one easily. Also, The 6.1L HEMI gets better torque and horsepower than the 6.0L Chevrolet engine.
