No, but when he's winning titles against people who barely put up a fight, or when he gets ridiculous carry for no reason because he barely gets anything on the ball is amazing. Not many people can get away with putting nothing on the ball.
He's always been about accuracy though. Everyone puts up a fight against wrw. Some people just struggle against him though. Look at Steve Jaros vs him at the masters, or mike wolfe this year, and mike devaney also.
I think the luck comes from not giving the pocket away. That, and he uses angles and speed better than most.
If you get it close to the pocket a lot, good things - lovetap on the 10 here, tripped 4 there, roll a 2-pin now and again, throw a scout or two - will happen, and it'll balance out the pocket shots where you get ripped off.
Those ten pins are all deserved though. Being accurate isn't everything. It does help a tremendous amount, but the rest is speed control, which he sometimes doesn't do by speeding up and pulling his backswing down, or by not hitting the fingers well enough at the bottom of the release.
i put nothing on the ball i have no more than 8 revoutions per shot and i get good scores by being accurate and knowing when and how to adjust when i need to walter ray is argueably the best of all time he may leave alot of ten pins but he doesnt leave as many big splits as the power players but ill give you that he leaves some

I will admit everyone has hold some luck in helping them win. Examples you ask?! hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Chris Barnes throwing a Brooklyn strike for 200,000 dollars at the motel sex roll to riches

You right, you right. Him leaving the flattest pocket 8-10 I've ever seen with a new ball must mean that you don't have to put revs on it.
