@hanzmole1 its fixed now all i gotta do is cover up where its rusted :D and fix those fucking indicators god they break too easy seriously who desinged those things
I think I'd go crazy if I was supposed to drive in England with right and left side swapped. Nice bike though, It's my dream to have a small cruiser like this one. And I think I'll buy it for my first bike when I save enough money for that :D
thanks,went for a spin today over the rhigos mountain road,bit cold but nice to get out.Out of interest what camera are you using and how do you secure it
great little cruiser, I have a 125 myself, quite right you don't expect great performance but it gives off that feel good feeling, and one of the best small cruisers to learn on, I have the first part of my test this month, if I pass that and the second part probably will be selling on for a slightly bigger engine.
its quite low to sit on. its probably the lowest seat you can get. its max speed is about 60mph. and its comfortable if your not to tall. Ive answered all these questions already
the yzf-125 and the virago 125 are totally different style bikes so i would suggest sitting on both of them and get a feel for which riding postion you prefare. I saw the yzf-125 at a bike show and it looks great.
I would guess a virago is easier to drive than a yzf-125, yet the yzf has more firepower (15hp) and a higher maximum speed, even tho the virago is more comfortable, but its like either 9k or 3k$
personally i think anyone who buys a brand new bike for a first bike is mad because theres a good chance you will crash or drop it due to inexperience.
if you want comfort and dont mind riding at 50mph then get the virago. but if speed and acceleration is what your looking for get the yzf. its more powerful and lighter. And just because a bike is more powerful doesnt mean its harder to ride.
Speed isnt anything that bothers me, the max speed in my country is 100 km/h and i live far away from that speed zone. I think im gonna go for the virago after what you've said, seems like a better bike to me, more comfortable, and speed isnt anything that bothers me, i mean i don't wanna kill myself ^^
go for the virago. If speed doesnt bother you then you will love riding it. i ride in the city alot so I have to ride slow, so the low speed never bothered me. But try to sit on as many bikes as you can to find the best rinding position. Different bikes feel totally different to ride.
Phone taped to your visor, brilliant I have to do it, but say I get a call ha ha, lovely little motorcycle you got, better on little roads no doubt but I got to say, on your right turn you didnt check if someone was gonna overtake, yeh I no people are critical but Im just thinking of you mate, ride safe, cheers

Mine also does not have a gas gauge and i hate that. any tips on when you know when you get low on fuel
houstonsober 9 months ago
@houstonsober
when i fill up i set the odometer to 0 miles and mine does about 100 miles on a tank of fuel so when it gets near the 100 miles i know to fill up.

A few other 125cc bikes to look at would be
honda cbr 125, suzuki maurder, honda rebel, yamaha tdr (has a 2 stroke), honda varadero, suzuki gn, suzuki intruder
