Well, the glowing effect its simple. Look in the effects bar and search The glow effect. Just pick it in a new solid in The top..

Stylish as you wish.

Btw guys, all of the animated flourishes where taken from Video Copilot's Evolution package so if you want to make something similar to this then check them out. There is even a tutorial there that shows you exactly how to do this.
