  • Hi David,

Thanks for putting these clips up.BTW-The name of this show was 'Goodbye Again' and it was filmed in 1968,after they lads switched from BBC to ITV.

  • "fracarse" :o)

  • "What DRIVES you to this violence at football matches ?" "Well i usually take my dads Vauxhall" !

  • Oh, so funny.

    Thanks :)

  • Terry Jones as a woman has an uncanny resemblance to Dudley Moore as a woman. It's crazy.

  • @LetItBe920

Er, Terry Jones is a short dark fella, Dudley Moore was also a short dark fella. Terry Jones is a lot chubbier though.

  • @LetItBe920 Yes! Yes! Yes! Freaky.

  • peter cook got a kicking at manchest utd vs spurs in the early 70's, maybe this inspired the sketch

  • Look who similar he is to Bruno, the Austrian gay fashion interveiwer, a character of Sacha Baron Cohen, (Ali G), Bruni must have been based on this.

  • Peter Cook is the second funniest man who ever lived. Spike is still No. 1

  • Pete and Dud are the greatest

  • peter cook looks like liam gallagher, and dudley moore looks like phil collins

  • THis one looks SO like Monthy Python, it's uncanny.... I had no idea how much Cleese Chapman Idle and all owed to Pete and Dud.

  • Peter Cook is like Bruno in this, and Dudley Moore's old woman voice is like Brian's mother in the life of Brian, I think everyone has copied them.

  • True, stefan -0- but long before they made life of Brian, they were all doing HER voice on the tv skits -- Mrs Jean-Paul sARTRE at the laundrette "iT'S THE BOURGEOISIE THIS AND HTE BOURGEOISIE THAT...", Graham CHapman "Good evening, Mrs Zambesie...." -- it's that voice and that costume.

  • The bit on "Ad Naseum" about Cook visiting his mother after seeing a psychiatrist is hilarious with Dud using the exact same, "working class old cow" voice to genius effect. "SHOW ME YOUR TICKET!!!"

  • yes this is long before Monty Python

  • I'd even say the woman interviewed is MP's Terry Jones!

  • It is.

  • lucy fuller ha ha very funny.

  • Lucy Fuller loves this

  • lucy fuller would laugh if her arse was on fire.
