New Nintendo Wii Ad Now without Gamecube Support - Mock Parody Commercial

The thing that bothers me about the new streamlined Wii even more than the lack of ability to play GC games is the lack of the ability to use GC controllers with Wii games. I hope some third party company makes an adapter for the Wii U and streamlined Wii that at least allows you to use your GC controller for Wii games that use them.

Anyone who actually prefers playing Pikmin and Metroid Prime with Gamecube controls is ridiculous. The pointer controls are simply more intuitive and make game play all that much smoother. However, Gamecube controller > Classic controller. Nintendo doesn't make sense to me sometimes.

@FireOnForest Actually this was why I got sick of Metroid Prime 3. I don't like the point controls for the Wii. Maybe if they had more precise. I prefer controllers even for Pikmin. Especially when it comes to games like Mario Kart. The classic controller is a bit junk.

@MrGabrielLecomte Okay so there isn't an original. I made the keywords to get search hits but it came off as sounding like I was doing a parody of a real commercial. It's a mix of advertising styles from the height of Nintendo's career plus a little infomercial spice and a whole lot of crazy. This would be a great commercial for Sony. I remember back when Sony and Sega did stuff like this mocking Nintendo. Blast processing, hehehe.

@jordler It's true. The issue is that the system comes with a multiplayer game that advertises how much fun it is to play multiplayer. Yet the Wii comes with only one controller. This just seems like an idea that wasn't thought out.
