I believe most Uighur are not separatists but concern much more on their maintenance of ethnic culture, language and their future development as a race.

Like Uighurs are difficult to get a Chinese passport to travel outside China or even travel outside Xinjiang. It is important for Uighurs as long time traders to travel in Central Asia for business.

The Mornority Ethnical people in china can have two babies in one family but the majority of chinese ( Han chinese) are only allowed to have one baby in a family.
