If you still can't find the problem, and it is not a tuning issue. Check all the wiring, the S4's seem to have a lot of wiring issues. I'm problems with my S4 TII were similar. Good luck.
This has been the wildest rx7 vid since i hit a tree. ( A lot of love. Rip my baby) P.S your 13b sounds a little sick. The ticking might be your oil. Make sure you are not using a senthetic particals of glass in the oil will where down the seals/O rings, of the rotor housing/seals. Don't hate on the Wankel it will show you love. :)
