For an entry model this MB is not underpowered! 156 bhp is decent, but what matters most is the 230 Nm from low revs!

A new 2.0 NA engine in a similar size car, could easily have 150 bhp, but not more than 190 Nm...200 Nm Max!

By 2010 MB replaced the Supercharger with a Turbo: Same 156 horsepower, but 250 Nm instead of 230 Nm!

@moorsy88 2007 c180 kompressor has 143hp, from 2008... 156hp and the cgi has the same hp but more torque with turbocharged engine instead of supercharged=kompressor
