Sam, what body did you use for this guitar? Is that an RG? Do you know what wood it is? Alder or Basswood? Also, where did you get the pick guard from. I was thinking of building an "at100" clone but can't find blank Ibanez bodies or pick guards.
@yjmsrv I didn't build this guitar. It's a one-off AT100 that Ibanez built for Andy that I just set up and dressed the frets on. I'm almost certain it's an alder body though.
@samswank Sweet! So that's Andy Timmon's actual guitar? Very cool. Wish Ibanez would make them more reasonably priced. North of $2600 is pretty expensive for any guitar...
The BRIGHT sound of that axe reminds me of Ted Turner's work on the early Wishbone Ash albums. Very unique sound. I like it.
