Umm..yeah, Ruth is a christian band. I've met them and they're quite nice, kind of like Hawk Nelson. Umm..story behind the song? No, it's not about a girl, it is kind of a love song from Jesus to us, inviting us to cross the line into faith. Jesus wants us to tell him we need him and want him in our lives. Because he's just waiting to be invited in our lives, he's already given us "everything he has".

Emo is a mid 80's thing. And it was the Hardcore Punk bands of the day starting new bands with more of a softer side, not the intense, anger driven music that the hardcore scene had. It was called emo because it was more emotionaly driven AND it DIED in the 80s'. This music isn't even close to real EMO. This is just ROCK.
