yeah, and i feel like he tried to get to involved in it, this kind of song doesnt need a solo guitar throughout the whole thing, maybe just through the chorus, it should be kinda subdued into the background, and the last part at the chorus where most everything drops out in the original should stay quiet, but thats just my opinion, Santana still rocks.

fair enough, but have you heard it without the guitar? it's far better.. i guess being a guitarist myself its just annoying to hear him playing a generic solo when it was perfect without it. he doesn't even have any finesse! just playing the same crap the entire song. any instrument is about PLACEMENT. a guitarist needs to know what to play and when to play in order to compliment the song, not just fill up space.
