I do remember the music from gold. I also heard the music from its remix, and it has the part of the music that Gold did not. That's one of the things that makes HG/SS so awesome.

Its still there, Its just they didn't loop the song after that point.

It was intentially cut and looped from G/S/C because of memory space issues in the cartridge. Now that theres more memory in the remakes gamefreak can remix the entire song.
