@dfranks50 Thankyou, The tone at the 50 sec mark is the same tone as the part before it. It sounds different because i'm using my sustainiac pup for that part. Believe it or not my guitar sounds like that acoustically when the sustaiac is engaged. Ill upload some patches to line 6 tone exchange soon as i have the time :)
Chris, sitting here with Elyas Khan in Berlin and we love this. We were looking for video of the HD 500You are a great musician with a great sense of humor and a great melodic and compositional sense. Cheers! -Gentlemen and Assassins
i just started using multitracks, thnx for the motivation, hope ill ever get this great!. would like the how a copy of this is you dont mind :) thnx again
How did you go about tracking the drums? Great video! I like the melodious nature of your music. REAL ART ISN'T DEAD AFTER ALL! I hear elements of ELP along with a host of other prog rock influences. Thanks.
You have to wonder where there's people come from who click 'dislike'.. probably would rather listen to " I don't know how to sing so I guess I'll have to talk with a Drum Machine' noise
This is by far the coolest and most complex geniousally guitar-song I've ever heard... and I have heard some ... I hope (as I subscribed to your channel before I even read this in the info) that you would let me have a copy of it. You haven't done any CD releases? - I would buy without hesitating a sec. GENIOUS! Thanks a million! -From Arnt P in Norway
wowwww....very nice guitar playing...Could u please give me your copy link??what program did u use to make the drum playing??and what software u use to record ur playing??
@zemunac007 thanks.... ya i use the hd to record the bass too. it don't have any bass amp models but i like to only use a compressor on a bass anyway Ive always preferred a dircet to desk DI sound for bass, haven't tried vox with it i think my wife would turn it off if i did as i sound like a cat lol
Hi Chris, it´s an amazing song I wish you the best, you give me that push I was needing to buy de pod hd thanks, now I have to learn about it XD, but thanks, please can you send me the link?
@downfader2 its funny you said that as on my next video im doing a complete cover of queens bohemian rhapsody. im working on it now, it should be ready in a few weeks. thanks for the kind words
Chris sounds great man keep up the great work. I have a question, What DAW did you record this in and did you go directly (USB) with the HD500? I can get some things I record to sound good but I can't seem to get good volume levels, i always have to crank the volume on the stereo (in the car or at home) a third to a half times louder then standard recordings from regular CD's Any help would be greatful if you have the time. Again keep up the good work :-)
@Bulletisred i use cubase 5 for all my recordings,, i dont use the hd,s usb as i allready have a good external soundcard but the pod hd500 usb works very well,,. To get your overall levels loud you need to use a volume Maximizer on the master output buss, there are many plugins that will do this, like waves L3 , izotope ozone, voxengo elephant etc most daws will have their own variant of a Maximizer built in,, thanks for the kind words
@mrchrisbeaver , Thanks for replying so fast. I'll have to look into a volume maximizer for sure. This particular piece here reminds me of a few bands, a little bit of Yes, with some Alan Parsons Project thrown in and as someone mentioned before some Dream theater with a dash of classic Genesis. Not a comparison but a compliment.
please get in contact with ronald jenkees somehow! or at least look his stuff up. i swear you guys would make ultimate prog band. Great music anyways. You've got a fan for life!

Hi Chris, amazing song, beautiful piece of art. Any free copys left? And few questions ofcourse, was this song (and all the other songs as well) recorded straight from the POD or using cabinets, USB interface etc.? And if I was to buy the HD 500, would it have enough "balls" to co-op with my 7-string guitar? Cheers and keep rocking!
@LagSnake many thanks, ive no idea how it would cope with a 7 string as i dont have a 7 string you may be better off asking some of the metal players with pod hd,s what they think of it with their setup,,. all my recordings are the pods direct outputs straight into my soundcard. ill send you a link for the song, all you have to do is subscribe to my channel send a pm asking for it and ill reply to the pm with the link,, thanks again

Nice tones. If you are giving away the song, could you also possibly do the same for some of your presets? I got my HD500 a few weeks ago and it's absolutely fantastic. It's no AxeFX, but it's deinitely a sweet piece of gear.
@Stratomacaster thanks.i agree with the hats comment listening to it here...when i upload my music on youtube some of the top end goes a little mushy, it must be youtubes compression and kbs rate my wavs dont have that problem
