It's stupid how people are complaining about the graphics. They're pretty fking good for such an old game. I personally wouldn't change anything in the graphics because of the nostalgia when I see this game. Better graphics would ruin it.

can someone explain to me how many guild wars there are and how many expansions? sry I just quit playing wow and I'm looking for something else to play and guilds wars seem kinda fun!
The first one is Guild Wars: Prophecies, set on the continent of Tyria. Second is Factions, set at roughly the same time as Prophecies but on the southern continent of Cantha. Last is Nightfall, set on the continent of Elona. If you buy more than one campaign, your characters can travel between the continents once they reach a port.
There's also the expansion pack, Eye of the North, which lets you take characters from any continent and play through a story that connects GW1 and GW2.
Guild Wars game like RTS 3D card game there is over 1000 cards in your deck some cards making damage some cards healing and some cards stop you use any card and everything equal in game except "skillz" and exprience . there is 2 things actually not mean anything stand alone. if you got skillz its only makes 2 or 3 minute longer game than usual ( how sad isnt it ? ) if you got only exprience ( surviving into guild drama ) getting exp is never ending content imo you should has both and fight

Fighting them is like fighting a guy dual wielding two ak47s with sniper ammos in fps games and that says everything. And Blizzards buffing them next patch. Please release GW2 soon.
Guild Wars 2...Is just so EPIC, just watched a 37 minute video of it, and I'm amazed. It's a million times better than wow, I'm so excited and I'm craping my pants and I cannot wait..So exciting...I'm....omg this is AMAZING. If gw is f2p then that'll probably mean gw2 will be f2p which will = EPICNESS TO THE MAX!!

I've never played Guild Wars, can anyone tell me if its any good? I really didn't like WoW, but I enjoyed Flyff, Atlantica Online, Aika Online and for a short time Fiesta Online. Does anyone think I might enjoy this game? Can anyone tell me pro's and con's about it?
There's more than this, a lot more, this is just what I can think of.
Pros: Low Level Cap, good amounts of everything, good community (Mostly invisible, but that's normal), extensive lore, official official wiki. ^^
Cons: Pretty much requires all four segments to be able to do higher things such as speed clears; many things are very hard to get going (PvP titles are a main thing in this category)
Guild Wars is a better game for 4 reason: 1 Better Community- more ppl will help u with ur char. 2 better graphics... - look at the game enough said. 3- better story line... wow has no story. 4. FREE TO PLAY..
@Omgilikejesusjokes I played Wow for a long time, tested beta for and played Aion, played closed and open beta for and play Rift. They are all good games. WoW's graphics are constantly slipping behind the other games' and are nowhere near the top of the line anymore. Aion's leveling system is based heavily on grinding, being a Korean MMO. Rift is a great game, and it just went live a little less than a week ago. Stop pre-judging games before you've played them.

Well i have to say that elementalist= mage on STERIODS. both wow and guild wars have their awesome things in it, guild wars has been awesome for a long time, when wow has been getting worse since lich king.

The skill level required has decreased and invited all the casual players access to everything that people that actually grind and spend a lot of time playing.. Vindictus still wins, even after all the MMOs I've seen and played...live action ftw much. GW looks good, but it looks slow like all the others...and I can't do slow anymore after that incident in AQW...

@Omgilikejesusjokes I played Wow for a long time, tested beta for and played Aion, played closed and open beta for and play Rift. They are all good games. WoW's graphics are constantly slipping behind the other games' and are nowhere near the top of the line anymore. Aion's leveling system is based heavily on grinding, being a Korean MMO. Rift is a great game, and it just went live a little less than a week ago. Stop pre-judging games before you've played them.

Dudes, many RPG games is like World of Warcraft. But there can be many opinions about games. Like Guild Wars. You like it, I don't like it. I have tried it twice. It just wasn't my style of game. The skill level required has decreased and invited all the casual players access to everything that people that actually grind and spend a lot of time playing..
