They were killed by order of craisy comunist bastard Lenin in 17-th jully 1918.... :( :( Soviet goverment was even worse that nazi... See the truth about soviet goverment - Lenin and Stalin in movie ''Soviet story'' .... Let all comunists burn in hell, Lenin and Stalin were worse than animals.....

As a woman you just can dream of those dresses the Tsarina, the grand duchesses or Queen Mary in britain for example weared. ;) Excuse my english... Two simpletons, Nicholas and Alexandra, obsessed with a religious fanatic (and con man), Rasputin, and, like the rest of the Romanovs and Russian aristocracy, totally ignorant of the seething, almost starving workers and the illiterate peasantry. They lead the country into a disastrous war with Japan, then, with an equally antiquated and corrupt military (great uniforms for the officers, though), into the calamitous WW I. And you praise them?
i completely agree with joyann, learn their whole story before you judge them! and furthermore even if what you were saying about nicholas and alexandra being simpletons the children were murdered as well, i realise of course that they needed to do this as they were the heirs but they were innocent children who did not choose to be born into that family, nor their parents decisions
sad really...russia was going to fall apart anyway it's too big of a country for one man to rule. Plus nicholas didnt want to become czar anyway he was more of a family man. Also russia was a lot bigger then it contained estonia,finland,latvia,lithuania,parts of poland,belarus,parts of bulgaria,ukraine, and alaska
