Fuck glen beck he's a bitch. He is a government controlled puppet with a hand so far up his ass you can actually see fingers moving when he speaks. Infowars . Com
Quick! We gotta make sure Beck isn't seen as a Libertarian or helpful to the Libertarian movement! If that happens he might actually be a strong help and we might actually win an election! Quickly now, we must cut ourselves off from anyone who doesn't match lock step as a Ron Paul CLONE. (I'm a Libertairian, and I'm tired of this cultic nonsense...and no, that's not a jab at Mormonism lol)
@HypetInflate Clearly you don't listen to Glenn Beck.He has put all of those guys in the same box together (yes, Taft too). He pretty much only points to Reagen as the only non-progressive since Teddy. I think. He may go back farther than Teddy, but Taft is certainly not free from being lumped in.
@brhodes625 I listen to him well enough and long enough to know that he hops back and forth on issues, like a little girl jump roping. (for or against the patriot act for example). Beck is nothing more than an entertainer to people who can think on their own without relying on stupid propaganda bs crap that comes off the tube.
@HypetInflate I really dont think so, friend. Whenever the pat act gets brought up now, or any history of progressiveism & statist control, He openly, clearly, & candidly admits being FOR the Pat. Act after 911. He has then consistently moved into an apology, admitting he was wrong and wishing he could go back in time and take a different stand. I'm willing to forgive and forget when someone recognizes a mistake--I think most people are. But others would paint that as a flip flop I guess...
@brhodes625 You're right. That's exactly what flip flopping is. I also forgot to mention that he did the same thing on the 2 previous bailouts. Beck is nothing more than a propaganda piece, like O'Reilly (fake right) or Chris Matthews (fake left).
@HypetInflate Wow. Ok. So you have no room in your ideology for mistakes and forgiveness. At least you're honest about it. I respect that. But I don't think most Americans are there, nor do I think it's good to force people to carry their mistakes as baggage so that you can hold it over their head, especially when they admit fault. As to Beck & the post-TARP bailouts, that's altogether false. Id need to see documentation on that. It's convenient if you're out to demonize Beck, but it's not true.
@brhodes625 I demonize all main stream propaganda puppets and for a good reasoon (Council on Foreign Relations). Glen Beck admitted on his own radio show last February that he was for the bailouts, so that in itself is documentation enough.
@HypetInflate Well, we'll agree to disagree that blanket demonetization is justifiable or rational in any case. But again, thanks for your honesty, that's helpful to me as I try to understand why people just hate on Beck and others like him. It's because they have a particular set of presuppositions that doesn't require them to weigh intentions, motivations, integrity, and the like. And he admitted he was for them in Feb or was for them at the start? Big difference.
@HypetInflate Regardless, I would need to see documentation on that. I've been occasionally listening to Beck off and on since Obama was a candidate. I've never heard him once deviate from a position that rejects the bailouts and demands that we let failed business do just that--fail. Because I've listened to him over that long span of time, I suppose it's just my word against yours, but I would need to see documentation because I think you're either entirely wrong or you misunderstood him.
I don't get it...Beck supports the war in Iraq and the war in Afganhanistan, yet preaches that we should mind our own business? Didn't I just see him blasting Obama for not sending more troops? Someone please explain how Beck's newfound libertarian views are consistent with his support of the 2 wars.
Hmm, I think what Beck said at the end was that America should mind its own business but if it gets attacked, then hit the enemy hard and then return home.
With regards to sending more troops, I suspect Beck just wants the whole thing done quickly, which would require a large surge of troops. That way, the fighting doesn't linger for years and years.
In addition, I get the impression that Beck is increasingly unsure of Iraq. Hussein, as evil as he was, didn't attack America.
I DO NOT TRUST .BECK .. IS A NEO-CON.. he has them on his show all the time.. he and along with fox news is trying to HIJACK the RON PAUL movement and in the process looking to make money ofF of it. IVE SAID IT BEFORE AND ILL SAY IT AGAIN .BECK IS ALL MADISON AVE PR.. DO NOT TRUST HIM OR HOS SHOW!
"We should do it by setting good standards, motivating people and have them want to emulate us. But you can't enforce our goodness, like the neocons preach, with an armed force. It doesn't work."
Ron Paul, June, 2007
"Now, if we really were decent, and we really did have a great, clean, non-corrupted system, and we just lived it, you know what, more people would want it. [...] That's how you spread Democracy."
"retro, When did he advocate rounding up Paul supporters?"
If I could still find it on youtube I'd post the link. It was during and while the primaries were still taking place. He was stating at how worried and even scared he was... followed by talking about how they were basically terrorist and something should be done to them possibly taken or detained. I state verbatim what he said because I can't even find the clips that were online about it. I recorded it just in case it wasn't online.
When I checked online the next day a bunch of people beat me to the punch so I deleted it off my dvr to keep space available for shows I was recording. Don't worry eventually Im sure I can at least find typed transcript of it. A lot of these things have been buried, lost or forgotten. Like the time he said he wanted to kill michael moore literally, and said he would love to look him in the eyes as his hands are wrapped around his neck choking the life out of him.
Even that audio clip I can't find online anymore. They just believe they can get away with claiming to be anything they want because they think no one has the attention span or memory to remember all these things they have said in the past. I just need to start data mining all of these things for later use I guess.
You fools actually believe Glenn Beck changed his minds when he advocated rounding up/arresting/detaining Ron Paul supporters "because they are radicals and they scare me"? You guys have another thing coming. He is playing lip service to up his ratings because he is intelligent enough to realize if he wants his usual ratings back he needs to appeal to the majority, and he knows the majority stand with Ron Paul. My god don't let this idiot fool you to again line his pockets.
"the libertarian websites are indistinguishable from websites like the lew rockwell website that are in bed with islamofascists and have turned against this country" this coming from a guest that was agreeing with Glenn Beck who suggested that the liberty movement members are like timothy mcveigh, and are worse than the radicals of the 60s. What this a few times and you will never again suggest that Glenn Beck is on our side He helped Fox ruin Pauls presidential campaign
Various points to show who glenn beck is. I have had links to videos that show glenn beck suggesting some ron paul supporters be detained, imprisoned, and feared... but those have all been removed, replaced or completely buried and obviously forgotten about.
Come on Beck. Talk about the New World Order you coward. "We can now see a new world coming into view. A world in which there is the very real prospect of a New World Order... A world where the United Nations, freed from cold war stalemate, is poised to fulfill the historic vision of its founders"-- George H.W. Bush
If Beck starts talking more like the way he did just now we could see a quick change in sentiment about how the Faux audience thinks about foreign policy. That would definitely be welcomed.
@john2knj Glenns orders are to lead his audience away from Ron Paul and that's what he's slowly trying to do. Glenn is full blown neo-con. All the neo-cons are saying they are leaning libertarian now because Ron Pauls tea party saved the GOP.
Wow, Is he really starting to wake up on that issue too? More Glenn More! I am thrilled you are learning. This is the issue you have always highly disapointed me with. Welcome to reality. Keep pulling off those scales. There are some very harsh truths about our foriegn policy. Keep digging.

I guess William Taft wasn't a progressive? I guess Glen Beck should study his history a little bit more:
Ted Rosevelt
(William Taft)
Woodrow Wilson
I guess Glen forgot his history instead of learning it.
