For that first complex where you do the pwr snatch to OHS to BP to situp... Are your feet anchored? I did this the other day and found that I had to anchor my feet to keep from falling back too quickly during the situp negative. Thanks for the great new ideas.
Nice stuff. Clearly you like to be creative and see how far you can go. Excellent form and for those who are concerned with his lower back, the SAID principle will take care of that. He has clearly worked his way up to these movements and his back will handle them just fine. In fact, the SAID and Kinetic chain combination would likely make his lower back much stronger and more efficient than yours. Good work Matt.
When you take a look at the fitness industry and how it became so machine like with the emphasis of not to strain much and you will look awesome--circuits like this really show all you really need is a barbell--not all these complex and expensive machines..
yes, lock them out. It looks like I am not doing it sometimes, but depending on the anatomy and physiology of your body, (size, length and flexibility of your muscles and levers) your overhead position can vary. Just do not roll your shoulders forward, push them straight up into your ears, and I think about squeezing the bar hard and pulling it apart to activate my shoulders and scapula as much as possible
@mwich40 Alrite mate, have you got your feet under something, to help with the sit up part? I found that your legs want to come up with a heavier weight. Thanks

Hey dude,
I was curious if you are trying to get some volume for your abs? cuz weight training with abs (sit ups on bench with w8 at the beginning) = more volume isn't it? I'm trying to do as most as reps possible with least amount of weight (like crunches). It gives excellent shape to abs + less volume = chest is more significant
What a serioulsy awsome way to train. I do a lot of super and triple sets, but this shit is a different beast all together. Im definately gonna change things up and do this stuff.
Fantastic combos, Matt. I'm going to start using those. I just had a client do a C&J->OHS WOD yesterday. I'm seriously impressed with your creativity.
Damn, respect.

You're a beast man. There are few things more fun than meating out on a public street. Mortals driving by thinking: "WTF?"
Keep up the great work. You have some great ideas/concepts that I'm going to incorporate.
