We swim at this beautiful beach every year while we camp at the campground in Captain Cook state park. Because the water is not deep along the shore it"s GREAT for kids; they do not drown and the water is warm. Beyond the buoys it gets deep and you can swim "with the loons". It's a pity this man let his pooping dog swim there.
Is the water used for hydro power plants, or are there other natural reason for the disappearing water? Seems to have been low for a long time; The plants have grown big close to the "new" water level.
I thought East Cowes beach on the Isle of White- which has won awards from, the local council but is in fact a small strip of grass at the opposite side of the main road from a 10 foot sea wall- was bad, but Alaska has just taken the cake!
Well, it's pretty! I think they put those disclaimers there to avoid being sued by the chumps who break their necks diving into shallow water from time to time... maybe. Surprised Captain Cook gets a park named after him - I learned in school that his mob decimated a great deal of the Arctic wildlife - if it''s the same Captain Cook of course!

Hey, when the swimming beach is all deserted like that, I'm sure you could get away with diving!

Why would anyone swim in Alaska?

My yard is at least 5 times as big as your "beach".
Cool dog.

Keep Mysticalforest away, you all know his reading and comprehension skills, he might try to dive off the steps.

@RayetWolf
No, please! Let him dive off.
It might knock some sense into him.

Wow, it's a good thing those buoys are there to prevent people from drowning in that err deep? water.
