WOW!! He has awesome movement! I love the music selection, it showcases his rhythmic gaits beautifully :) Now if only I didn't have to get a new car....haha.
Tom P is gorgeous! I have to use weighted shoes on my Friesian to get him to move like that. If I had the cash I'd buy him, he's absolutely stunning! Who is he out of?
No weighted shoes are allowed for the Dutch stallion testing. In this video, Tommy is demonstrating the results after 70 days of training. He moves this way naturally at liberty. I'm not sure you could call this typical, Tom is an exceptional mover even for his breed. But it's typical for "him"! :)
Impressive....just another facet of the versatile Friesian. Boy, he really picks his front feet up and does some high steppin' doesn't he? Do they weight the shoes of Friesians like they do...or maybe did (don't know if it is allowed any more). I realize that good training is essential but, I am wondering how much of this is training and how much is typical of the Friesan breed in regard to the movement...can you educate me a bit? Thanks.
