To non dutch speakers, this is what happened. The Taliban had them half surrounded in a 180 degree arc, fight ends with taliban running and 3 wounded (but being able to walk) and 1 dead on allied side...the forces were Dutch,US and Afghan troops. the sad part was that the casualty was an afghan military, who had his legs blown off, was being treated by medics and got killed by a stray bullet.......
