destination dispatch is not as efficient because it thinks it can all the broken elevator that was stuck between floors because of no internal buttons. Westinghouse was a great company as they made several appliances. Schindler makes only elevators and escalators that see to never work. I do prefer pressing buttons on the inside

I think destination dispatch is better because you can get your own private car with that handicap button and is much more efficient because you dont have ti get on and crowd with so many people. Westinghouse made OK ekevators but I do know of some horrible westinghouse elevators and there escalators are awful.

westinghouse was one of the best company's in the world. I have seen very nice westy elevators. But department stores never maintain there elevators and escalator properly which is why you think there junk. for you if its less than 10 years old then its junk. WRONG! because they have old Otis elevator at MillCreek Mall and they all work just fine and even better than new crap made today

You see in the video, when he first got on it assigned the elevator right away and he only stopped at 2 floors!!! Even when the place seemed crowded. With conventional, people would be scrambling to get on that same car.

No, the only buttons pressed are on the keypads outuside. The optional interior buttons, are only to tell people what floors they will stop at and they cannot be pressed, only in fire service they can be.

Once the elevator opens, you have to GO OUT from it immediately, and if you want to go to another floor, you have to press the keypad on that floor.

It was the legend that "Long elevator waits in Marriott NYC", up to 45 MINUTES before the elevator arrives with conventional system. Destination dispatch reduces average elevator waiting time in Marriott NYC from up to 45 minutes to less than 5 minutes, and I have heard that many new-built skyscrapers will put this system into their elevator systems. In Bangkok, 50-storey Central World Tower has destination dispatched elevators, and average waiting time is less than 30 secs.

The reason why he was assigned Car F was because they were in the process of switching it over to express service from floors 3-48. I do think Westinghouse makes good appliances. Schindler elevators are not that good. If you orefer waiting on long lines for the elevator, conventional dispatch is reccomended for you.

there otis no point of an elevator that only serves restaurant. They should jut use OTI because g4tech says there is inside buttons which is how it should be because its WAY better. Elevator time had a video where there is a bunch of people and the elevator took a LONG time to come. its not much better at all.

Those buttons ONLY WORK IN SPECIAL MODES!! When there is a system like this with no floor buttons INSIDE, there are buttons BEHIND A PANEL WHICH IS ONLY OPERATIVE IN SPECIAL MODES!!

Car "F" is an express elevator between 4 PM and 2 AM. I believe that i might have been filming the elevators when that occurred.
